I was just wishing someone would write an app to make stereo photos, and here it is! I hesitated to purchase it, because there were no reviews, but went for it anyway. It works perfectly. I haven't tried the anaglyph or wiggle modes yet, since I prefer stereograms. This is my new favorite app.

Crashed a few times until I rebooted my phone. Wish there was a way to send the wiggle images since there isn't a way to save these files to the album or post online. Just checked, and twitpic supports animated GIFs, yet the option isn't available in 3D Camera. Hmmm. Looking forward to seeing it evolve.

I've been interested in 3-D photography for years, so I was very happy to see this app developed. I love the overlay feature to help properly align the two shots. File saving and retrieval are a bit un-intuitive, but hopefully that will be perfected in an upgrade. Even as it is, however, I would recommend this fun and very stable app for anyone interested in 3-D photography.

I've tried them all, and this 3D photo app is fantastic! The app is designed well, and the camera overlay makes it easy to align the two images. Lots and lots of fun. I ordered my free 3D glasses, and while I'm waiting, I've been creating stereograms. I had to reset my phone before I ran it the first time, but it's been running perfectly ever since. Definitely one of my favorite apps.

I haven't gotten the app to work yet since I purchase it. It stalls and crashes everytime. I will change the rating if it works.

Saw Pixar's "Up" in 3D with the kids this past weekend and we decided to have our own 3D fun. Took the kids a bit to pick up the right way to view stereograms, but the FAQ on the site points to a lot of good resources. They're worth reading even if you don't buy the app. The kids are a hit with their Facebook friends. Highly recommended.

I used to 'handmake' anaglyph images with a couple of custom mounted cameras. Needless to say this app is WAY easier, and the results can be fantastic! Looking forward to creating some unique vacation memories with this app!

First: this is a 5 star app for the money except for major, but easily corrected, flaws. -- Thick black line Dividing stereo images is distracting for viewing on iPhone. I'd prefer there be no border dividing the images, make an option? Update on that, no less than 3 of 7 viewers are distracted by black line, you can minimize by putting finger over it, but still... It's not just me..a stereogram should not have that line.. (even though stereo video, oft viewed with hmd, might at times..) make it optional Also fatal flaw I had to take 2 stars off for: Pictures aren't saved in the proper orientation to be diplayed back on iPhone. Picture rotates when you try to view from camera roll. Just need to flip the h and v resolution to fix this. Speaking of saving-- let's all agree on auto save-- it's easy to delete an extra pic from your camera roll-- but you'll only get your 2 year old to hold still for a few min a day at best.. Combined with 2yo love of the home key.. This means a lit of great pics lost forever. This would be a bonus feature-- even if just the last session were saved so that a person could open it again and save. This app crashed for me a couple times on wiggle mode, but my phone is jailbroken and can't say that's not a cause. The good: it WORKS makes great stereo images with true depth, the little instruction animation is very easy to understand. With practice I was able to produce the best 3d images I've ever seen of real world still objects. (making me sad that I can't share them with other iPhone users.)

This app allows you to take the left eye view picture first and then you take the right eye picture second. It is critical that in doing so you do not rotate the camera at all or move it up or down. You use a ghost image of the first shot to achieve this zero vertical displacement and zero rotation, but to get 3D you must allow to make the second shot slightly to the right by moving the camera slightly to the right, known in the 3D photography world as the cha cha method. Thus you end up with a left eye view and a right eye view to get stereo vision. The app is clever in that the alignment is done by you when you take the second shot rather than in some post processing program like Adobe Photoshop.

This is a very stable 3d anaglpyph photography app. I was worried after trying TwinShot3D and having it crash endlessly. This app is much more stable, and has other sweet options like wiggle 3d, black and white anaglyphs, and stereo images. The interface is simple, and with some practice you'll be taking wonderful 3d anaglyph photos in no time. I especially love that a ghost image of your first shot is visible when you take the second shot for better precision. I'd love to see yellow and blue anaglyph added, and zoomed-in image alignment. So far this is the best 3D anaglyph software out there.

This app works as advertised! Lots of fun for the money if you like taking pictures. You must use the old school 3D glasses to see the pictures. Pictures look best when the object is at an angle pointing towards the camera. Great app!

Update: sad to see this still doesn't properly save photos to your camera roll. When you try to view saved images, the picture rotates. This renders the program basicly useless because I only want to show these images on my iPhone. I'd be happy with an in-app photo gallery/viewer. It would solve the issue of mailing the pics to other iPhone users though. This latest update, with the addition of the touch alignment feature, REALLY makes this app work wonderfully.

The update is great and improves the useability of the app. To the previous reviewer, hit cancel when the camera comes up and you will be allowed to add pics from the camera roll. This was an option previous to this update as well. My only request is the ability to save wiggle views to an album the user can access. I highly recommend this app.

Yes you can use photos from the album if you cancel the camera. You will need to pick the photo twice from your camera roll or album. However, doing this does not support full resolution making the picture blurry. Very cool idea, but falls short because of the resolution problem. Use the app's camera to get full res.

The alignment feature is really useful for adjusting the stereo window...and there are a lot less compression artifacts in the final output image.

This apps settings is located under your devices general settings menu (outside the app.) the update makes this the best application of it's kind-- LOTS of fun snag this app for $1 while you can I paid more! Send your friends stereograms of you flipping them off.. 3d middle finger brightens any dull day...ADDS A WHOLE NEW DIMENTION TO SEXTING! (literally)

I've been having a lot of fun with this app. I find myself taking more 3d pictures than 2d now! I'd love it if (after you save your new 3d image) the original 2 images were removed. I'd also like the ability to take landscape images, not just portrait - but this app is fun regardless!

So simple and SO MUCH FUN! I am addicted to capturing my world in stereoscopic 3D with this amazing program!

By far the best in it's class. The latest version makes a very good app near perfect.

Not the most intuitive app, but once you've got it figured out, it's fun and effective, offering multiple ways to view your creations with either glasses or the naked eye. I've posted multiple pics to Facebook and it brings a whole new level to travel pics. Improvement suggestions... Square pics, offline user guide, text tool for labeling pics, faster processing time between picture taking, steady focus prior to snapping.
