Modern meetings are a marvel. With strong competition in the remote presentation/conferencing product space, we now have plenty of capable and feature-rich platforms that offer affordable (sometimes free) remote meetings, most with a good Mac compatibility story to tell. The catch, of course, is that all these technologies depend on Java, Flash/AIR or a bespoke browser plugin to deliver the goods -- meaning that the iPad and iPhone are largely left out of the fun. Given the demand, it's clear why the Adobe Connect iPhone client and WebEx player for iPad deliver meeting attendance options for iDevices; who wouldn't want to attend a web meeting from the beach? I've been a long time user of Connect Pro (going back to Breeze days). Just tested the app with my iPod Touch in my meeting room. Pros: remembers room URL and login info, shows chat/screen share/webcam video, screen share performance was ok but the webcam speed and quality was really impressive. PPTs with larger text/graphics will look best during sharing. Cons: no support for audio conferencing like PGi yet, small text doesn't look good during appshare (but that is mostly due to the small screen)

VERY sluggish response to zoom in and position, nothing is clear once you do, making you virtually blind to watching presentations. Great concept but I got more out of closing my eyes and using my imagination. At least you can sort of attend a meeting while on the go but dont expect to read dialogs or be able to make comments on what is on screen. Chat and camera work fine but the screen is king and too unresponsive to be able to follow along (and this was on wifi-have yet to try 3G)
