Good app. Nice and easy to use. Edit - 5 star now it has multiple alarms to choose from.

Of all the digital alarm clocks you might find, this is by far the prettiest. Also it has numerous tweaks that allow you to customize it. Should be worth it's money, the love spent on creating it is clearly visible.

As advertised! In first update would like to see font and color options along with more choices for alarm sounds. Really great first release.

One of the better alarm clocks in the store. The auto dim option is great....Request: The alarm should be at least 60 sec, daily alarm setting option and option to change font size and color.

Great app. Not as pretty as Night stand but how often do you look at it when you're sleeping! But probably the most functional clock available. Simple and easy to use.

Very nice app with intuitive, apple like, interface. Features separate alarms for each day of the week. The actual clock display is sleek and nice to look at.

Okay, used the app as an alarm clock, and trust me, it's loud!

I was always screwing up when setting my alarm for the next days classes. This app solves that problem!

Great app. Not quite as pretty as Night stand (but it does a pretty good job) and how often do you look at it when you're sleeping! But its the options it provides that makes this so good. Variable length alarm sounds. Variable length snooze. Huge snooze and off buttons when the alarm is ringing so less fumbling around and knocking the phone over. Plus much more. The most functional clock available and yet so easy (simple) to use. No hesitation recommending this app.

Other touches like being able to set the length of the alarm sound and snooze mean I can completely customise to my own needs. I like the App. I don't quite love it yet. I have just one thing that would easily make this my alarm clock, a gentle but loud alarm. Something like birds chirping or maybe something even better than that. I find it to become a bad day when I start up startled because of my alarm, but my day seems to go better with a gentle one. I would love to see this added. This app is a great clock. Although it offers only three different skins there is customization on whether you want the program to auto dim as well as lock. For those of you in the military (or who don't want to wake up confused at night thinking is it 8am or 8pm) they have a 24 hour clock option as well. This is all done from within the app itself. I have also read other reviews saying that the developer actually listened to his email. I will be sure to support this (and any developer) that will listen to their customers. I do like this app and I will begin to use it as a clock, but I am waiting for the gentle alarm. Yes, I would recommend this to a friend and already have. PS - I always look forward to any updates.

UPDATE: ok, i've been speaking with the developer and the problem fixed itself, but he is working on reproducing the bug to fix it. VERY helpful guy! and now that it all works as planned, i gatta say, it's REALLY nice! i have it plugged into my speaker, and can click the sleep button on the top of my iPod Touch 2G and the alarm woke me just fine. plenty of adjustability, and customizability. very cool!

I like almost everything about this app except that SOMETIMES IS SIMPLY SHUTS DOWN. The screen goes blank in the middle of the night. There doesn't appear to be a pattern to this flaw. Its only happend a few times. But a clock that fails to work every once in a while is not a very useful clock!

Great app, developer is constantly improving, most options for sounds, look and feel etc. Ability to set alarms for 7 days is a real neat feature. Love the speaking clock but one request would be to have woman voice as I respond better to those ;)

There many alarms in the app store. This one stands out for it's features, which have been mentioned by other reviewers. I think the 'screen saver mode' (auto dim is what they call it) is important since it guards against the risk of screen burn-in from a static alarm display. Also,the display (when not dimmed) is clean and easy to read, but shows you when the alarm is set for - so a glance tells you all you need to know.

Edit - I like the new auto-dim indicator. I had quit the app a few times thinking it was running; now I know its AOK.

After reading several positive reviews, I decided to give this clock a try. The talking clock is pretty cool but the alarm does not work. On the info page, it says that this alarm works even if the device is on auto lock or goes to sleep, yet it is not working. One minor critique is the limited clock themes and colors. It is too plain and boring. I had fairly high expectations for this app however overall this was a very disapointing purchase.

I got this clock since it works when the phone is in silent mode and can be programmed for all seven days. Also I have found that if file size of an app is pretty large it usually indicates the UI/ controls have some substance, which this one does and is very easy to use. I recommend you watch the video if you’re unsure about purchasing this clock app. I look forward to any updates or enhancements. One I would suggest is for it to say the time by sound activation with sensitivity controls. Keep up the great work!

Doesn't take a rocket sciencist to see how great this app is. Best app that I've brought. The only app I refuse to delete off my phone. Though I will agree about the alarm not working when locked. Though its a wake up alarm for me anyways so, I just leave the app open while I sleep.

Not sure what these 1 star folks are talking about as I use this as my sole alarm and it works every day. Love the updates as well

i had this app for a while. but it always crashes when i open it. i doesnt work amymore!

This program has to be fixed it does not load and crashed my device. Do not buy and to those who designed this you will be hearing from my office

The alarm doesnt work correctly

This app has worked very well for me for last year and half. However I just recently changed my schedule to waking up early on weekends and I have found that the app does not work for me on Saturday night to Sunday morning. It works perfectly every other night to morning cycle. Other than that I think it is a great alarm app.

It never failed once! It come with sum defualt ringers witch is cool.. Well I don't know about other ppl but but this is a 2 thumbs up app!! great for Somone who likes waking up to their own music!

I've been using Simply Alarm for quite a while with no problems, even when I went to the 3GS. But with the most recent update I can't keep Simply Alarm from going in to the "locked" iPhone state, which means I have to enter my PIN first thing in the morning when I wake up to put Simply Alarm in snooze mode. Please fix.

This app was EVERYTHING I was looking for. I checked out every alarm app and this is the one I chose to purchase after hours of searching. I love love it. I wake up to my iTunes music and it doesn't drain my iPod. as long as the app is open when u put your iPod on sleep it's golden.
