this is a great app even if the info is old.

Next to the state name there is a city in parentheses. It isn't clear whether this is supposed to be the capital or the largest city. For some states it will be the largest city but for others it appears to show the capital.

Got the update, now all the data is gone. It used to be great.

Could be better, some of the info is almost ten years old. If they update all info to more current numbers it would get a higher rank. Still fun to scroll through

 no puerto rico I'm deleting this app. Maybe it should me called all the contries but one. And for the dumb PR is a country too. Maybe you need to download an app to improve your IQ. Ps try a free wiki version you might learn that the term country can be used to refer to territories as well.

Some facts, etc may be a bit off, but overall not bad for a free app. What's sad are complaints that are wrong (eg: Puerto Rico is not listed as a country because it is NOT a country- it's an unincorporated territory of the U.S).

Not up to date, some data is more than 10 years old. Better off using Google.

Where is Puerto Rico? You got Cuba and the Dominican Republic, yet PR was left out. What a disappointment!

OK for what it is, but I wish it had maps.

There are many mistakes in this version. Seems like its a old data. May be the new version correct these mistakes. Overall a handy app.

Need to include Puerto Rico

You should add the line of letters, like the one on the ipod when ur browsing through songs. When u touch the letter it would go to to the countries starting with that letter. Also it would be cool if u could see to countries side by side. Like a comparison option

After update all pages blank. PuertoRico is not a country for those dumb people asking where it is.

Can we please update the United States to include our new President and Vice President... I think they deserve it. Other than this - excellent app!

This app is a great idea, but don't have it if the information is wrong. Update it, EVOLENS Productions! Example: the US section says the President is still Bush, with the year 2001. Wrong!

Its fun and interesting but quite outdated. Many of the countries statistics are from ten or more years ago. Some of the politicians listed have been out of office for nearly two years.

No Bermuda?? They seem to think they are a country, with all sorts of passport stamping and immigration rules at the airport. Their own currency, a Prime Minister, House of Parlament, all that "country" stuff.

I mean, I'm not sure if I would write a report or buy any stocks based on the info in this app without double checking the facts...but just for a quick reference guide, it seems more than accurate enough to do the trick.

FYI Puerto Rico is a self-governing commonwealth associated with the United States, and was its own government, Thats for you guys and girls thats wanted to know why it has its own flag. Its a commonwealth. What to know what else is a commonwealth? (Massachusetts and Pennsylvania and Virginia and Kentucky) a commonwealth is a politically organized body of people under a single government. Also The Capital of Cuba is Habana not Havana, its only known as Havana in English.

Please remove this blot from the USA; it was too painful a reality for too long; I was expecting to see Obama in the update. Also, to see country data instead of blank again, delete and reinstall. That cured it for me.

The information isn't good. For example tomorrow is February 2009 and guess who they think the president is...George Bush. I guess the developers don't read the paper but there is a new president and one they could have anticipated three months ago. I'm surprised they don't have Gerald Ford listed.
