Dude Perfect

| $0.99 | Dude Perfect
There have been many attempts from developers to come up with “the next Angry Birds”. Nothing has quite had the impact as the original Angry Birds had, but we have seen those good attempts. Well I think this game just might have the same addictive quality as Angry Birds has, but will not reach the marketing aspect of it. Dude Perfect, is basically a new game for Android that is based on all those YouTube Videos you might have seen where guys try to make a basket in almost impossible and creative ways. I remember being a kid with friends trying to come up with unique ways to shoot a basket, but did not come close to anything like they were doing on the videos. So Dude Perfect took that idea and made a game out of it you can play on your mobile device. It definitely has an Angry Birds quality to it, simply because you have to shoot the ball with many obstacles in the way. Check out the video below to see what I am talking about. Now I do not see it blowing up as big as Angry Birds because the characters are not unique and, oh yeah, it is not FREE. Yeah this game will cost you a dollar in the Play Store which is that bad.  Think I will give this game a try after drop this article. Let us know if you guys like it and if it is as addictive as Angry Birds once was. David Pena I have two things in my life that grab my interest. Movies and Android phones. Never did I think that when I got the T-Mobile G1, the Android OS would spread as quickly as it did. I'm now currently using the G2 Vision that I've turned into a beast. Read More

Six-Guns

| FREE | Gameloft
Those of you keen on first person shooter games, will be glad to hear that the popular game “Six-Guns” by Gameloft is available free right now in the Play Store. Six-Guns is very popular game on the iOS and Gameloft has brought it over to the Android Community with all kinds of free-ness to it. I took a look at the trailer below and it looks like it would definitely play better with tablets but I think I will give it a shot. Let us know what you think of it and what device you downloaded it on. Application: Six Guns Developer: Gameloft Cost: Free David Pena I have two things in my life that grab my interest. FTL Launcher Lite

| FREE | Lowveld
So many launchers out there, it is kind of hard to choose which one will satisfy your Android needs. Now I have been an avid Go Launcher Ex user while running Gingerbread, and have moved over to Nova Launcher with my beta ICS I am running on my phone. Some users out there, however, might not want all the crazy customizations and features that some of these launchers have. These users just might want to have a simple launcher that gets them from app to app with ease, and or course, speed. Well in comes FTL (Faster Than Light)Launcher. Pretty much in the name right there. It is a simple launcher that moves quite smoothly and “lightening” fast. Based off of Gingerbread’s Launcher 2, this one comes with a few features even though it is pretty basic: Now I have not tried this launcher out, simply because I have been rocking some ICS, but I would say give it a shot if you are not wanting something fancy. There is a free lite version on the market, as well as a pro version that will run $2.64. Let us know how it is if you try it. David Pena I have two things in my life that grab my interest. Google Play Music

| FREE | Google Inc.
The application received an update in the Android Market yesterday, bumping us up to version 4.1.511. Of course, there’s nothing new stated in the changelogs yet, but from what I can tell, there are a couple of UI additions that weren’t previously there. The two things I’ve noticed so far (please correct me if I am wrong) are the Market and search button in the lower right-hand corner of the screen. Unless I have somehow managed to overlook them, these are new goods that will help to simplify navigation and discover new music from Google’s Music Store. The UI also looks a bit more ICS-ish, but I’m also running an Ice Cream Sandwich ROM, so I’m not sure how much of an effect that has. At any rate, it’s time to get your updating shoes on, kids. Click or scan the link below — simple stuff, right? Application: Google Music Developer: Google Inc. Cost: FREE Tony Simons Android addict would be the two words I would use to describe myself. It’s the first thing I check in the morning, and the last thing I check before bed. I’m 30 years old, my first Android phone was the G1, shortly after its launch. I have also owned a myTouch 3G, and I have a myTouch 4G, which I am absolutely in love with. Other than Android, I’m a father, brother, college student, and almost-full-time employee at a local brewery/restaurant here in the cornfields of Iowa. If there’s anything you’d like to know, please feel free to hit me up. I’m a pretty nice guy, and I respond as quickly as I can. Thanks for stopping by! More articles by Tony Simons » Read More

ADWTheme GlassRings Monochrome

| $1.99 | JaiThemes
A couple of weeks ago we showed you guys a new theme by @JaiThemes entitled Glass Rings. It brought a unique style of colored glass looking orb rings that were put together very nicely. JaiThemes has recently release another version of the popular AWD theme that is void of all color. Why would he do that? Well, demand suggested it. There are many users out there that aren’t all about the super bight colors. Check it out and see what you think for yourself - Summary and Downloads: Application: Developer:  Cost: $1.99 Read More

ADWLauncher EX

Looks like most of the work has been done to offer a better tablet experience. That is good news for the tablet owners out there that are struggling with a stock UI they can’t stand. If you still aren’t using ADWLauncher EX, you might want to give it a chance. You can find all the purchase info below, as usual. Find Free Stuff

| $0.99 | MotionT
I always thought the idea of charging for an app to find free stuff was crazy. Looks like MotionT, the developers behind “Find Free Stuff”, finally wised up and made the app free too. If you are like millions of Americans struggling to make it from day to day and thankful to have anything at this point, you might find this app useful. I live in a small little town in Oregon, so it didn’t provide me with much of anything. It could prove rather useful in more heavily populated areas. It’s amazing what people give away for free sometimes. Summary and Downloads: Application: Find Free Stuff Developer: MotionT Cost:  Read More

Folder Organizer

| €1.35 | Fabio Collini
Application name : FolderOrganizer Published by:  Market price: FREE ad supported / €0.99 ($1.21) ad free So how many apps do you have on your phone? If you have an unmodified G1 then I expect not many, but if however, you have one of these newfangled devices or are running apps2SD then you’ve likely spent a fair bit of time trying to organize your programs. FolderOrganizer is one of several apps that have come along to address this problem. The idea here is simple: Labels. Labels can be applied to almost anything, applications, contacts, emails, bookmarks or even Android settings. Once labeled they will appear in a folder that can be created on the home screen that is associated to the same label. Multiple labels can be assigned to the same object so they can be found in multiple places. The interface can be a little tricky at first to understand, but that can be explained in a short YouTube video provided by the developer. Beyond what I’ve already mentioned there’s not much to say about FolderOrganizer, it sets out to solve a simple problem and it does so well and even on a modified ROM I never noticed instability or anything but a speedy response from the interface. For 0.99 Euros you can remove the ads present in the trial version of FolderOrganizer but how useful an application like this will be to you is entirely dependent on how long you plan to spend setting up labels and just how many apps you already have cluttering up your many home screens. I for one will be keeping this one installed. Download the application from the market using the ZRCode below: Read More
