This is an example of a really well produced and developed game that simply isn't that fun. The graphics are great, controls are superb, sound is OK (get back to that in a sec) but the gameplay is really flawed. The game works like this; you have a little dot that you control by flicking the screen. This is probably the coolest part of the game, because the control makes you really feel as if you are using a roller ball on an old arcade upright like Mrs Pacman or Centipede. The goal is to roll your dot into all the lines floating around the level just once. I say just once, because they toggle on and off between selected and unselected. Each level they throw more and more lines at you. By level 7 or 8 you have about 15 lines floating around the screen. It becomes really hard to touch the lines you want while avoiding the lines you've already selected. When I say hard, think annoying. Think frustrating and wholey unsatisfying. And yes, I know about the powerup that destroys lines, and that if my dot is still it won't activate lines. The fact remains that the gameplay is NOT addictive, it's repellant. The sound effects are good, but the music is very repetative. I recall thinking at one point "I hope there are more tracks" but there isnt It's not a big problem, and I don't expect a wide array of music on a $1 game, but it's why I remarked the sound was simply "OK." I've never felt like I wasted money with a Pangea product until now. This game just isn't fun.

worst app Ive played.the graphics are alright, not as good as many other 2d games and the gameplay is absolutly awful. DO NOT BELIEVE THE DESCRIPTION OF THIS GAME. IT IS NOT ADDICTIVE AT ALL!!

I don't understand why some are having problems with the controls. There is a little bit of learning curve, but nothing too difficult. People also complain about there being too many strands after level 7 or 8. I have two things to say: 1) If you stop the dot the beams will pass through you, and 2) there are powerups that you can use to destroy some strands. I'll admit that the game is the same thing over and over again, but that's how arcade games (like the countless breakout clones) are. If you don't like that then don't download. Pangea offers bigger games for the same price, but this is still a fun game.

For everyone who reads reviews to make sure they don't waste money. Take my word for it this is not worth it. Antimatter should be more responsive when you throw it from place to place. The game has no point. Nice graphics.

This game is difficult and the end is not very satisfying when you 'beat the level'. it's a hard game-concept. Save you money. Buy a soda instead.

The control method blocks gameplay. The strings multiply out of control. There are no rewards for taking the time to perfect the game, and then no benifit if that time is invested. This is the first app that I consider a waste of both time and money... On the developers side as well as consumer. This dosen't hold a candle to Enigma, Pangea inc's first game. I hope they try again. This one missed the mark. Pretty graphics don't make up for lousy gameplay.

I don't usually write reviews to games but this one kind of made me. You see, this game is very well designed, there isn't any drop in frame rate or in sound or anything for that matter, even when the screen is super full. So I did give three stars for design and graphics and stability. I am a programmer myself and they did a good job when writing that code. Unfortunatly, the game play is a bit lack luster, it starts out simple and easy, but then escalates to annoying super hard difficulty that just makes you want to give up and say, what's the point? When you get to level nine you can barely even move the ball so it gets very frustrating and nothing new really happens except more bars from what I've seen. In short, the game is very very well done and stable, but unfortunately the gameplay doesn't leave you wanting more, it more makes you want to break your phone from frustration.

i am very disappointed. i expected more from pangea and the people who made enigmo. i really think that pangea would think about pulling it from the appstore because this game tarnishes their reputation of publishing really great games. ithey gameplay is way to limited and monotonous, the control is not that great, and the power-ups dont power up anything they just make the whole experience of playing this game worst. the whole concept of the game is just awful. and to top it all off; the pause buttone is constantly getting in my way.i say if there was a poewr up that made yo go faster or gave you more antimatter thingies on the screen at one time then that might make it slightly better. but it would be better just to shelve this game or at the very leaset never charge more htan a buck for it.

With titles like Cro-Mag Rally and Enigmo under their belt, I didn't even think twice about buying Pangea's newest game, and I'm so glad I did! The graphics are absolutely stunning and the gameplay is simplistically addictive. The game is awesome, and for only $0.99 it's an absolute STEAL. Buy it now! You'll thank me later. :)

This game is great. It has stunning graphics, amazing music, and challenging levels. The only issue is that it can get rather boring after a while. The entire game is basically the same thing, but it just gets harder. You have to hit all the lines, while avoiding the ones you already hit, and as you move on you must hit more lines. Don't get me wrong, though. The game is awesome, but it can get dull. I'd say this is still worth buying, but just try to take some breaks so it stats fun.

Great fun and addictive. I can always depend upon Pangea to create something entertaining.

This is a pretty cool game, it was easy to figure out and kept my interest.

For a gamer that is new to the iPhone applications, I would have to say that Antimatter is one of the most entertaining games that I have purchased, and for only $.99 you can’t go wrong. The game play is simple enough to not be overwhelmed by confusing game-play rules and technicalities. This game is a great combination of strategy and action. Anyone who enjoys games that you wouldn’t mind getting lost in the achievement of a higher score and intense game-play, this one is for you!

Huge Fan! I’d say this is one of the most entertaining games on the App Store. If you liked Enigmo you’ll absolutely love this game. It’s a physics based game that lets you manipulate a stream of particles and use it to alter the color of various cosmic streams.

Great little game...pretty much what I have come to expect from Pangea. Everything these guys put out there rocks!

A little difficult to get used to at first, but amazing.

This game is definetly worth a dollar. Good graphics, good time Waster. Most of all it is fun an addicting.

Great for maybe the first 5 levels, but with all the power downs that add more "sticks" to the screen and even shrink them so it's virtually impossible to hit them quickly makes it frustrating. Cute for a "wow" factor for your buddies and shorties at a bar or club but that's about it. The objective is to hit these floating energy bars and turn them amber from their native blue to pass the level. Unfortunately, it's all to easy to rebound endlessly between bars and keep hitting them...and hitting them.... and hitting them....and ......grrrrr.

The hardest part about this game is stating interested long enough to finish playing. I'm very suspicious of 4 star or higher ratings.

I own every single Pangea release. This could not have been made by Pangea! This game is not addictive, it is annoying and irritating past lvl 9. The controls are workable and the graphics are good. The game play is not of any quality in its current state. Yes you can Stop moving and wait for the lines to pass over you without changing them, YAWN. When there are more than 16 lines of different lengths randomly moving arround, the fun factor gets trapped just like the antimatter ball does. This is a big dissapointment. I d/l'ed this game without hesitation because of it's developer. Trick me once, shame on me. You won't be tricking me ever again by the name of Pangea.

A great use of a dollar. The graphics are great and gameplay is addictive. It plays really smooth too. I haven't seen any bugs. Get it!

The controls are sometimes lagging and it is hard to finely manuveur the antimatter, but other than that great game.
