      <description>The print version of the Encyclopaedia Britannica, the oldest English encyclopaedia, has reached its 15th edition and in addition to diversions into the world of online publishing as well as distribution via CD, you can now buy a copy for your iPhone. Released on Friday, the Encyclopaedia Britannica Mobile is a $25/&#163;15 application which features more than 35,000 unique articles and 800 images, with no need for a data connection to browse through the encyclopaedia&#8217;s pages.&#160; With this amount of content, you would be forgiven for expecting to have to clear some room before downloading, however the app is a mere 21.9MB in size. As well as the simple entries, a feature named &#8216;On This Day&#8217; gives you an overview of news and world occurrences on any given date, plus there are favourites, suggested search options, related article suggestions and a &#8216;browser-like&#8217; interface.
