They run through Carol of the Bells using apps like SoundGrid, MelodyBell and iGog; Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree with Percussions, PocketOrgan, and Saxophone Musicofx; and Feliz Navidad with the help of I Am T-Pain, Bebot, and Guitarist. All-in-all, it’s a really great video, and can easily get any gadget geek in the holiday spirit. Yeah, okay, we get it, the iPhone can be used to create some decent music, but I can’t help but think any time a musician tries to do anything serious with one of Apple’s mobile products, they tend to come off as junky and gimmicky by anyone with professional equipment.
