Oltre al nome c’è da dire che questo aggiornamento cambia tantissimi aspetti dell’applicazione, compresa l’interfaccia grafica. Midomi ci permette di trovare il titolo delle canzoni, semplicemente ascoltandone un pezzettino oppure canticchiandone una strofa.  Iniziamo col dire che migliora sensibilmente anche la velocità e la precisione. Il riconoscimento vocale adesso avviene tramite tre tipologie di ricerca e risulta molto efficace Quando troviamo un brano, automaticamente visualizzeremo la copertina dell’album e tutti i dettagli sull’artista. In basso troveremo i video YouTube correlati e potremo condividere il risultato oppure salvarlo nei preferiti. After either grabbing a sample of the song in question or simply speaking the artist/title, Midomi Ultra presents options for buying the track, YouTube videos, album information, lyrics lookup, and just about anything else you would want to know about a song. The above video isn’t a complete walkthrough of the interface, but I did try to gloss over most of the cool new aspects. However, like the recently updated JotNot 2.0, Midomi SoundHound has hiked the price up from $4.99 to $6.99. I was lucky enough to get the app when it first came out and was offered for free, but I think the app is smooth and buttery enough to deserve the new $7 price point. Mmm Midomi.
