This valuable overview acquaints the new parents with basic information on such subjects as effective forms of therapy, speech development, Asperger’s Syndrome, nutritional supplements, finding a doctor, possible environmental causes, what steps to take next, etc. In the coming months, ARI will release a more in-depth application, which will contain much more detailed information on such topics as diets, vaccines, gastrointestinal issues, and include links to videos, lectures and other sources of information. About ARI: The Autism Research Institute (ARI), a non-profit organization, was established in 1967 by Dr. Bernard Rimland. For more than 40 years, ARI has devoted its work to conducting research, and to disseminating the results of research, on the triggers of autism and on methods of diagnosing and treating autism. We provide research-based information to parents and professionals around the world. In addition to our www.autism.com website, ARI disseminates the latest information via conferences, print and e-newsletters, to mobile phones via www.autism.mobi, and ARI is proud to offer our introductory “Autism: Advice to Parents” app, which will soon be followed by a more robust full-functioned application.
