Thanks to Google maps you can always:
- Know very quickly where the nearest Point of Interest are
- Know the streets where they are and the speed limit
- In case of warning, the detected Point of Interest will be highlighted and it's informations will be shown automatically
Thanks to advanced algorithms and to an highly accurate database the application warns you only when it is strictly necessary.
Autovelox Plus automatically adjusts it's parameters basing upon your guide conditions such as speed and trajectory warning you at a variable distance according to your actual speed.
If you're driving inside a street monitored by the SICVE System you can always see your average speed from the begin of the SICVE track and the distance from the next SICVE Checkpoint.
If the application is closed, the data of the SICVE Track are stored allowing to resume the track when you restart the application.
If you have a database of Points of Interest supported by Autovelox Plus (fixed speedcams, ztl, ecc.), you can use the web interface provided by the application to import and use them with Autovelox Plus.
You can choose which Points of Interest to use from the application and you can also delete Points of Interest that you are not using any more
The preinstalled database has the informations about the Points of Interest in Italy.
Autovelox Plus will be updated each month, updates will include database and new features.

Tips:
- Be sure to enable the localizations services in your iPhone (Settings -> General)
- To receive a valid GPS signal you need to have the sky above your head, GPS won't work inside a room
- An internet connection is not necessary for the application to work, it is advisable though for an optimal use of the maps.

- The eventual lack of gps signal is not a problem due to the application, all iPhone application which make use of the GPS could have the same problem which is caused by a known problem of the iPhone's GPS receiver.
Autovelox Plus however is able to recognize ambiental conditions that could cause the problem and telling what you should do to resolve the problem.
- The Points of Interest Mobile speedcams could cause some false positives, this type of Point of Interest is to be considered as a place where you could find a police patrol.
- The format of the POI file to be imported must be Garmin CSV (one of the most popular), future versions of AutoveloxPlus will support also other formats.
