Does what it says, and does it well. Useful for avoiding for avoiding that good ole massive heartache feeling when waking up with normal alarm clocks.

I don't really like the UI or the icon and you should be able to change the colors, the brown and orange look terrible. However the app does work pretty well. Also it could use more sounds. If they can do some UI changes and add a few more sounds, this app would be perfect.

Great app. I feel so much more refreshed and rested without having my nervous system jarred awake! Would be really cool if it also made the screen slowly light up, getting brighter and brighter. Thanks for a great app!!

This is the best alarm clock application. I read all the highly rated reviews and bought it. I did agree with another reviewer that you should be able to make the gentle wake cycle longer. No sooner then I thought about it the update was waiting for me with those exact features. This clock is quality and perfect! I only use this alarm app and I agree with everone else who has expressed their satisfaction with this app. Thank you for your quality application for those of us who care about having the best!!!! This application is worth more than what it is being sold for so if you are ready for a nice alarm clock with easy settings and quality programming then download this application.

This developer knows how to make an app that meets its purpose and do it with an intuitive and clean interface. Does exactly what it says and does it right. Not cluttered with worthless features. Developer is responsive to email queries. Wish it could turn off the backlight when dimming but this is not the developers fault, its a limitation Apple puts on developers. As soon as they are allowed to do that I was informed that would be implemented. 5 stars all the way. It is rare to find an app that has such a clean UI. Most others are just thrown together. Rotation is handled spot on for landscape or portrait use. The alarm method of easing in the volume is excellent and better than some morning siren jarring you out of sleep. Nice selection of alarms too. I look forward to updates and hope Apple lets them do the dimmer the way they want to. Its a shame when Apple ties hands like this. Could not recommend this app more enthusiastically.

Great idea and I think it just may work. Would like to wake over a longer period of time and maybe a choice of snooze length but so far I do feel better when I wake. Hope its not a coincidence. Great app.

Now THAT's an alarm clock that is special. I usually don't need an alarm clock to wake up, but this one allows me to rise a little bit earlier than I wake up but still gentle enough so that I am too groggy. This adds valualbe productive minutes to every day.

Love this clock! I just wish there were more sounds and I wish I could set more than one alarm

Just what the person who has to ever be woken up by a darn alarm clock needs. No more harsh alarm that wakes you up with a bang and jolting you out of sleep.

Please CHANGE THE NEW ICON!!!! I refuse to update until the photo of the random lady goes away. The other icon was much better. However the ability to wake up nice and slowly is brilliant. No more waking up in a panic, adrenaline pumping! Instead Wake up feeling calm and ready to face the world. Nice easy to use interface too, good ambient sounds and plenty of setting options. Highly recommended.

Perfect. Standard alarm noises drive me crazy - this app is what I've been looking for. I have been looking at expensive homedics alarm clocks that feature nature sounds, but this saved me quite a bit of money. The interface is easy to navigate and use, but packs an impressive list of features. The nature sound library provided rivals most $30 nature alarm clocks.

Forget waking gently. This alarm clock barely works and is not worth your money. This app barely wakes you at all, I've tried it 10 nights in a row and Ive woken up late each time. Use the alarm clock that comes with the iphone. I don't have bad ears, the sounds are barely audible at full volume if you sleep in a room with a computer or fan turned on. It may work if you sleep in complete quietness, though. The other features are cool but I regret paying for this app. Last update added a few sounds but still none are loud enough. It's a good idea but failed execution.

Edit - I love the fact this app keeps improving. New layout is much better and the 7 day alarms make it much easier to use.

Using the built in alarm on my phone I would previously wake with a shock then snooze, fall asleep again and then eventually drag myself out of bed after 3 or 4 repetitions of this. Since buying this app I am "gently" woken up with the sounds of the sea, a waterfall, wind chimes, etc. I now find I rarely oversleep past the first playing of the alarm and also feel much more alert and ready to get up and go in the morning. Thank you for developing this app and keep up the good work. My only request is another button to take you back to the clock from the options screen.
