Wow, just discovered this app and it's amazing. I love the interface and it really makes you save some moolah. It's a mess to go through the entire store so I just use it to look up the popular apps.

Some things great, some just ok ....

I liked this app a lot at first. It became my favorite "app-checking" app, especially since it works on a cell phone connection and does not require WiFi. However, in the past 2-3 weeks, it has shown no information available about half the time. Also, since it seems to often be running behind as much as day or more on its info updates, several time I have checked on apps (I was checking it once or twice a day) and their bargain prices were already gone. A small annoyance is the counter-intuitive way you have to hold down the selection, or it will send you to the iTunes app store, rather than opening in this program (seems like it should be the reverse). All in all, this is a promising app that I hope will get a few updates that make it a 5 star app -- it certainly has that potential and being available for free is terrific.

TOP NOTCH APP!

I'm not one to write reviews because I don't have time but this App is TOPNOTCH! If something is really good I will take the time. Well this is one of those apps. I used pandorabox until recently. I found Bargain Bin searching for apps like everyone else. I tried it and found myself using it all the time! My buddy had it in the past and saw me using it and said that they tuned it up since. He is now using it again...I'm like everyone else. I want to find the apps I want at the cheapest possible price because I still need to fill my gas tank. Who hates to find out your friend or work buddy got the app you wanted but it was marked free or for a third of the cost the week he got it....You missed out! Well don't be upset. With just a touch of the icon bargain bin tracks it for you. I would highly recommend using this app for finding when the latest and greatest apps drop their prices or mark them free. You will find out there are no apps like this one.

Now a must have!

I have had this app for a while and it was always okay. But the 3.0 update makes it a must have. I used to use appsniper and pandorabox as well but I have deleted both of those apps and now just use bargainbin. The watch list and push notifications are AWESOME!

The App That Keeps on Giving

Remember the genie strategy of using your last wish to wish for unlimited wishes? That's bargainbin. You can set up a push subscription to let you know when paid apps become temporarily free. I got dozens of new paid apps for free. Also the new updates are amazing.

Another Epic Fail . . .

had hopes, loaded it and all it says is "Barginbin is currently searching the App store for the latest deals, Please check back soon" It's been hours . . .

Needs a New App Tab

It's okay for searching apps. But I deleted this app after 2 minutes because there is no way to see all the new apps coming into the App Store. Developers, please add a "New App" button so that I can see all the newly listed apps as they come in to the App Store.

Watch for price drops BY HAND?!?

It may be easy to use (and, yes, it's pretty), but it's missing necessary features... (which are found in AppSnipr) Seeing "new" apps (not only popular) released in the App Store AND Needs a way to "mark" apps to watch...otherwise, you have to keep a separate hand-written list of apps you are waiting for price drops?!?!? Huh? Lame...

Annoying

A great app! It finds games on sale, or free, which is great....but to see about a game it sends u to the app store which means u then have to scroll thru ur apps again to get back to bargainbin EVERY time!!! A description for each app in the next update pls, then 5 stars

Good app

I like this app a lot. It is free and helps you save money. The only problem is that it sometimes finds a bargain when a company releases a "lite" edition. That's not really a price drop because the lite edition is not the same as the full one. Fix that bug and this app gets 5 stars. A note to developers of this app: when you monetize this, I hope you charge a fee for the app instead of using ads. This app would be far less attractive to me if it contained ads. Great product. Thanks

I like pandora box better but its broken so I had to settle for this with less choices and it takes you away when you want to buy unlike pandora but unless I find something better im stuck with this

Poor & ugly interface

Viewing the description requires some very careful touching if the screen. Any movement and it won't get you to the description. There are much better apps out there with a better UI.

I love it. It makes it so easy to find the deals. When I am sitting in the airport and tired of my games, rather than filter through the Top 25 of free that Apple has, this lets me find those that have been reduced in price and get the reviews!!! Definitely worth the disk space!

Slick interface and nice catagorization, but App Sniper is still better because is the snipe and watch lust features. If these features are added, it might be the app to beat!

Really good but....

I downloaded this to try it out. I have only experienced one problem. When I simply touch a selection, the application becomes unresponsive and I have to push the home button to exit it completely. I tried rebooting my ipod to see if it would correct the problem, but no luck. I never was able to reach the App Store via the app. It does work fine however when you long press to see the item description, etc.

Great app! If you click on the featured app it takes you to the app store, however if you HOLD DOWN it will pop up a description. I haven't had any problems, easy to use and I got it for free!

Would be even better if you could add apps that you are watching to see what happens to them. Easy to use interface and the price can't beat. A couple of tweaks would give it 5 stars.

Nice App

Good design theme. Would give it 5 stars if the tap and hold functions were switched. First instinct to get more info is to tap the app title. Currently, this bumps you out of the app to the App Store. To get info on the app you have to tap and hold. I'm sure I'm not the only one that keeps doing this.

Overall I like this app a lot better than AppSniper, except for one caveat. In AppSniper when you click an app it gives you a description about it first then gives you an option to open the app store. But in BargainBin when you click an app from the list it automaticlly opens the app store, making it harder to browse around. If they can fix that one issue it'll be gold.

I did not see/find a Search utility... it needs one! (otherwise you'll be scrolling for hours) Speaking of scrolling... while attempting to scroll I would inadvertedly tap an item, promptly taking me to it's page in the App Store... thereby losing all the scrolling done up to that point! :(

This is an amazing app. With BargainBin, I was able to find some great deals on apps I would have never otherwise bought. It also has a "free" tab to categorize apps that JUST turned free. I spent so much money over the last few months on junk apps that clutter the app store that I wish I had this before. To top it off, this app is free to download. Try it out, you can tell a lot of thought and creativity went into this piece of software.
