I was looking for an app that would keep one section of the picture in focus and allow me to blur the surrounding background area - and yes, you can do that with this app. HOWEVER, when the description says "Simple and easy UI" I was surprised that it took me so long to figure out how to make it work as I wanted it to. I just couldn't figure out how to manipulate the controls at the top of the screen. Once I got that figured out, however, the program then became useful for me. Instructions on their website explaining how to use each icon on the screen would've been quite helpful. Otherwise, I'm pleased with the results.

An excellent, intuitive app! (Although like other reviewers noted, it takes a few minutes to understand the logical tool set.) This is a simple but brilliantly designed photo enhancement app.

This app does selected blur and I guess it is median filter blur. very simple works ok. But physcialy out of ficus is not median filter but more close to a Gaussian. This app has the ability to select a region in the image like Vihgo or colorsplash. Works ok but I would recommend Vihgo if you want more power.

This app has tons of potential, and I really hope the developer continues to improve it and fix it's flaws. The most serious of which is that the photos it outputs (if you choose Export to Photo Album) will have only a fraction of the resolution of the original. On the 3GS, the original 3.1 megapixel (1536x2048) photo ends up being .8 megapixels (768x1024). And the sad fact is that no matter how good the app it is as it's intended purpose (and it's pretty good, actually), to lose that much of the photo's quality is extremely puzzling and frankly inexcusable. I hope this is at the top of the fix list.

This app is great. Works just the way you want it to... except the UI. It's a little clunky, and is slow(er) to learn. The zoom function could be a lot stronger, especially if it worked like Color Splash. All in all this version of the app is great, but has the potential to be awesome.

This is one of my favorite iPhone photo apps, and I have a lot of them. Would have gotten 5 stars if you could save at full resolution. Still, very good and would recommend.

Thought I'd update my review since I first started using this app when it was first released. There have been a couple of updates since that time and they have been well appreciated. The menu is easier to understand now, for one thing, and getting better all the time. I also love the border frames! The results I get from touching up photos with this app are worth far beyond the cost. And there's just something about unblurring sections of a photo with your fingers that is so satisfying and relaxing. Plus, end results look very cool. Highly recommend this app if you don't want all your photos uploaded directly from your phone, to look like they were actually straight from your phone. ;-)

With the new update this app went from good to GREAT!!! The motion appearance is an excellent effect! A must have for the iPhone photographer!!!

If you like soft looking images with carefully selected areas of focus, then you will love this. It is easy to emulate the effect of large format camera work where tilting the lens and film planes creates select areas of focus. The UI takes some learning, but what worthwhile application doesn't?

Finally I figured out I had to click the menu again. If I selected the full image size, it took about 5 minutes to process a image!!! Overall I think the quality of this App is poor, it lacks the clean and elegant feel that iPhone has.

The lite ended up being easier to use and better quality and more frames than the full version. I was very disappointed and feel cheated. At least it was only a dollar.

This is the exact same thing as the lite version. The ONLY difference is that you can save. I couldve done that for free! Just take a picture(home&sleep button) and crop it and it's done.  You guys should add more frames and stuff. I regret buying this 100%. I should've gotten photogene instead of this crap. It is so much better and it's the same price! DISSAPPOINTED.

I've been using this with some other photo editing apps for really cool results! (I don't think there's one app that rules them all - but rather a combination of tools that best suit the user). Great app, I'm very happy I bought it and it runs well on my 3g device. Thanks dev team!

please fix it!!!

Can you please add some sort of tool or something to tell you were you are "cleaning" or "blurring" the picture? I can never figure where exactly I'm doing it and sometimes I need it to be exact (something like how Color Splash has that white dot to see where your fixing the image) Other than that I would rate it 5 stars

The latest update adds some great features, but they diminished the max output to 1024 because it took too long to save at full quality? Why don't you put a warning in the app to that effect and allow those of us who want the highest possible quality to wait. It comes off as counter productive to me to increase the feature set but lessen the overall quality of the final product. Besides that, this app is amazing. It's quickly replacing a number of other apps I own.

This used to be a really useful app, but in the latest update, the developer decided to limit the output file size to only small files. Not its nothing more then just a gimic and not really useful for itd intended use.
