This is the iPhone version of a game that has been out on Xbox live and regular phones for a little while. The graphics are impressive, much better than they are on the cell phone version. The game is a fun way to keep your brain from turning into silly puddy.

I'm frustrated. I'm finding that some of the games are problematic because the "touch" screen is frequently slow or unresponsive. Since most of the brain and stress tests use your time as a major scoring parameter, my scores will suffer because I have to tap the same picture repeatedly to finally get it to take. Worse, if I have to rapidly tap on pictures in a certain order, I'll get penalized for incorrect answers because a tap didn't take and registers as missed. I'm not finding most of my apps this unresponsive to screen taps so I'm not sure if the problem is the phone or the game itself. And when it comes to the stress test, the test isn't stressing me out because of the questions or puzzles. I'm stressed because I can't even get my answer to "take" and run out of time trying to tap and/or move the same graphic over and over again without success. If that weren't a problem this would probably be my favorite phone game ever!

I've never felt the need to write a review but I definately suggest this game. It's fun, practical, and passes time VERY well. People who complain about the price... Why do you have one of the most innovative (and expensive) phones on the market if you're going to be a cheapskate? It's ten bucks. Skip a dinner for two at Burger King and download this game. Very much worth it.

The games themselves are challenging and fun. Unfortunately, the UI doesn't follow the guidelines set forth by Apple. Every time I want to play the game, I have to wait through a splash screen and a battery-draining splash movie, then tap through a series of "suggestions" from the animated assistant who, while cute, has no bearing on the game. Every time a new screen loads, I have to wait through a 20 second progress bar while the animated "assistant" loads. At least, I have to assume that the load times are for the assistant, as the graphics themselves, while nice, are nowhere near complex enough to require this kind of delay.

The game looks almost exactly like it does on Xbox 360 except it's in the palm of my hand. The graphics are really good and all the mini-games are fun to play. Well worth the money.

I bought a copy of this when it first came out, and unlike other apps, can not upgrade to the updated version for free, it expects me to buy it again. Loved it when I bought it, but needing to rebuy every new update is wrong!

I've wanted a little brain exercise and now I can do it on my iPhone. Unfortunately it found that my brain is rusty. Some sections are very challenging and most are fun. The 1st time I tried to run the app it froze, but since then has run without problems.

Extremely well done app/game. Just would like the ability to have multiple profiles so the wife and kids could have some fun and I could still keep track of my own progress!

When I first downloaded Brain Challenge and poked around for a few minutes, I was like "Best... game.. ever!". And weeks later, I still find myself in awe of the pure intelligence of this thing! This app has only crashed once on me, and that's ironic for how complex it is compared to other applications I've downloaded. Plus, Brain Challenge is the first brain game that actually makes me want to play! Providing tons of mini games, fun facts, smart stuff and bonus material, this is a must-have for any iPhone or iPod touch user.

WAY too slow to load and execute. There's lots of emphasis on "fluff" at the expense of performance and responsiveness. I purchased this, and immediately requested a refund.

I had lot of fun with this game. of course i'll let my kids play it in my iphone and check ours scores lol

This is a great game! The only reason it doesn't get five stars is that it doesn't have a colorblind setting, which really makes a difference in the visual tests. The green and yellow(?) squares just look way too similar to me. Some shapes drawn on them would certainly help.

Very useful and increasingly fun game to keep you brain alive. Nothing gets your motivation going like learning of your late seventies cerebral age.

...it wouldn't open up again. I have tried opening it several times..even deleting another app to see if more space would allow it to work again. Nothing happened. The other apps that are free or cheaper all work. I can't believe I wasted my money. Any suggestions on what I should do?

Geat game, easy to pick up, difficult to put down.

One of the beat iPhone games and fun for everyone but DO NOT BUY this game yet sure it's great but it quits the the desktop when you finish a level equvilant so do not buy this until this kink is ironed out but one it's gone by all means get this game.

The graphics and premise are great, and the game is a lot of fun. All that would be worthy of probably 4 stars. BUT, even though you enter your name, I can find no way to save or load multiple profiles. With my wife and I both sharing the same iPod Touch (when we can pry it away from the kids), it would be nice if we could both "train" our brain, but there doesn't appear to be a way to do that, so any succeeding players simply build on the achievements of the earlier ones. Not good, and that would be the biggest improvement in any future upgrade, gameloft! My rating is therefore cut in half.

Worth the money. Good variety of challenges. Addicting :)

It crashes once in a while but in despite of that is a good game

The games are great training exercises to try everyday. My biggest issue is that a few of the games require analysis using colors; I'm red-green color blind so it renders those specific tasks pretty much useless.

I have found these tests have made my brain "muscles" stronger. This is fun and well worth the money.

Consistaint graphics. Good sound effects. Lots of mini-games to unlock. A title that keeps you comming back to play again and again. Lots of puzzes, mazes that other apps only do, that this one includes.

Might be fun if I could play long enough to find out. It crashes constantly! Wish I could get my money back. Think twice before buying.

While i agree with some reviewers shortcomings of this app, especially not setting up different profiles, this game is excellent for all the logic puzzles and brain teasers. Worth 9.99?....definitely. Many levels and game types. If u like Mensa logic/pattern games, then you will like this game. Perhaps not as difficult as Mensa books, nor the variety of puzzles, but it is the best thing out there so far. I'd rate it four and a half stars, but not possible with this rating system.

The games are challenging and fun....a must have for anyone interested in beefing up their thinking/processing abilities. The only things needed now are better analyses ( I think they're bogus, my score goes up every time even when I clearly do worse) and a language/word skill category.

I like the variety of the challenges—especially that more games are unlocked with increased use (it feels like a very good value to get an ever-increasing number of games with one purchase)—and the "personality" of the built-in coach. The only negative point is that it sometimes crashes or quits to my device's home screen.

I was unsure if I should buy this app because of the price,(I get worried if it's more than $.99!) but this game proved to be worth it. Finally, a fun game that I feel like I'm getting something out of!

I have had this for quite some time and it's alot of fun. The stress tests are a blast I like when the guys get in your face when it takes you to long. My % keeps going up except on one instance when it stayed the same cause of a headache and I couldn't concentrate. I think this program would be more useful if your percentage dropped when you do poorly. Other than that it's the best of it's kind. I had another program for my windows mobile device that I thought was good but I like this much better.

Several of the visual games use the red/green color spectrum exclusively. If you are the slightest bit colorblind, AVOID and if you are colorblind BOYCOTT this game until they make appropriate changes.

The game is a good concept with a lot of potential. The last update caused the program to freeze after completing an exercise but before receiving a grade/result that shows how well you did. It is a definite battery drainer. A lot of the games are not unlocked until you pass the games initially loaded with flying colors.

Initially the program ran well. However, now it consistently crashes after the daily test. Would not recommend this game.

If you want your self-esteem and confidence to go down, this is the one for you. It is harsh, critical, offensive (literally), negative, off-track, and lacks anything motivational. In one of the challenges, the "boss" actually calls you stupid and slow! No joke! Why pay money to make you feel stupid?! The instructors are like nuns in a catholic school!!!
