Rating: 8 out of 10Pros: Multiple notebooks, can email single page or entire notebook, wrist protection to eliminate unwanted marks.Cons: A bit strange to use your finger to write and stay neat, only 1 color ink, a bit pricey.Overall: Penultimate is a ever growing and expanding app that has great functionality and potential. It works quite well but the thing I found difficult, and maybe its just my sausage fingers, is that I could not get much information on one page. I would also like to see more than 3 styles of paper and one ink color. That being said this developer listens to what customers want and implements then extremely fast. I honestly can’t wait to see where the developer takes this app. You can learn more about Penultimate by visiting the developers website by clicking here as well as purchase the app in the app store for $2.99 by clicking here and being directed to the app store page. Rating: 9 out of 10Pros: Gives you the ability to record many lectures as well as bookmark important parts for direct access, add written notes to recordings.Cons: none that I have seen but a few small unnoticeable bugs are being fixed in updates.Overall: Audiotorium is a must have app for anyone that sits in a lot of lectures or business meetings. With the ability to record hours of audio and organize it in specific folders for playback is invaluable. Bookmark important portions of the meeting and be able to jump to the bookmarks with one touch. Audiotorium does not limit you to listen on the iPad a few taps and email an audio file to be played back on your iPhone, iPod or computer. Every student and business person should have Audiotorium on their iPad. You can purchase Audiotorium for $5.99 by visiting their app store page, simply click here. Read More

Rating: 9 out of 10Pros: Gives you the ability to watch your home programming on the road, never miss another big game, one app will work with both iPhone and iPad although the app is not marketed that way.Cons: Expensive; with the needed purchase of a Silngbox Solo box I would expect a lower priced app.Overall: The SlingPlayer Mobile app is a fantastic add on to your SlingBox as it enable you to watch your home programming without the need of your computer. This app is a solid performer on both Wifi and 3G and will always keep you up to date on that important game or TV show when you are on the road. No longer do husbands have to stress when on those shopping trips; just fire up your iPhone or iPad. I would prefer to see a lower price point on this app considering the initial investment of the Slingbox hardware. The SlingPlayer mobile App can be purchased for $29.99 in the app store. Here’s another app that I discovered at iPadDevCamp in San Jose this weekend; Tilt HD is an app designed for iPAd and is totally addicting. I will let the interview do most of the talking but the points that really hit home for me are that Nicole Lazarro and her team at XEODesign have been working on this app for about 2 years and have written over 500 pages of code. So if you think it’s easy to put together great games with great graphics think again. You can purchase Tilt HD for the iPad for $4.99 in the app store by clicking here and keep in mind the iPhone version will be available soon. Keep an eye out for my full review of Tilt HD. Read More
