Possibly the best user interface among SMS alternative apps and it time stamps every message which is useful. While similar apps require you to use phone numbers or a unique user ID to add 'Friends', this app uses email invitations to establish Friends. Has a variety of rings to select for incoming messages but it would be nice if it offered a couple more subtle rings. I hope to see Read Confirmations, landscape keyboard, and ability to send pictures in future updates. Otherwise, this SMS alternative performs very well. Highly recommended.

If you want to communicate worldwide with your friendsnext door or around the world free then this is truly brilliant. The app is stable, great user interface, slick appeal, easy to use, add profile pic, invite friends within app via email & then mass email all your contacts by adding them to bcc, many great user defined alert tones, Push notification & also the ability to send mass messages. Not a bad 1st version needs the ability to select a sound for each contact tho. I look forward to updates. All in all this app is awesome.

With a clean interface, easy one time setup and push notification I must say this one hits close to home. A few improvements like one touch deletion of conversations, MMS/ picture capability, a landscape keyboard and the ability to group contacts will surely earn a fifth star. All in all it's a pretty stable app and a must have for your iPhone/ iPod Touch.

needs more subtle ringtones and the ability to change the ringtone per individual user as well as and read confirmation.

I am an App-Addict... This App is fantastic. Works great. Messages are almost instantaneously received by whomever you send them to. Right now my fiancée is in Sweden and we've been communicating quite often through this App. Amazing. I would recommend this to anyone. By the way, off topic, if you like an App make sure and show it with a proper star rating. I know while perusing the App store, impulse shopping mainly, remember I am an App-Addict, the rating of an App can influence me to look further. I'm sure I speak for others. So, make sure and rate it accordingly. I've seen too many reviews with one star ratings while praising the App. 'Nuff said. In closing, great App. Well done.

its very annoying to send a mail to add a contact, it would be soooooooo much better to only send messages by id, or by mail, but directly to the app
