Really good for when I started studying Portuguese but the number of lists is not enough. I wish you could download lists from their site like you can with the CPU program. Also if your at the point I am where you want more out of the ordinary words I would suggest acellastudy it's a similar layout but more unusual word choices still I like this program a lot minus the download problem

I love this application and it works great! small errors but generally well worth the money!

I love this app. I think it is better than any of the books, and CD's that I have bought. Very helpful. If you get a word or phrase wrong, it will keep going back to it until you get it right. You can also download many catagories of phrases. You can also search for words (although this is a little slow). This is now my main study guide for my trip to Brazil this Dec. Awsome job!

I wasn't going to buy this because of the price but now I'm glad I did! I'm actually learning another language on my phone!

I really like this App!! It is very easy to use and has a great layout. If I there were anything I would add though it would be more beginners words and simpler phrases. But really for 8 bucks it's awesome! No complaints.

I guess its a good app,but its not completely compatible with OS 3.0. By that I mean that the only way to make it work is to turn the sound off,but that kind of defeats the purpose. I hope they fix it soon. I'll give it 4 stars- good concept,but not yet working with 3.0

This app doesn't work..it hangs up my phone everytime i run it! (using it on the new iPhone 3s) It's not worth the money or the frustration to get it to work.save your Money!

I can't even get through the first card. Every time I open the app and go into the first session the entire app freezes. Looks like a great app....if it worked.

Needs an update to work with 3.0 just shuts down when I try to use it. Worked the first time, but that's it...

Great app for learning a new language. Very smart on coming back to flash cards when having trouble learning. Quiz is very good & pronunciation is very good & can slow it down to hear better. Very good app. Would like to see a couple things as an upgrade. 1. Re-accuring test after each lesson is learned. 2. Be able to choose cards that u have a hard time with learning. Maybe have a favorites list or something to where u can check mark a flash card. Then u can kind of create ur own list to study and go back to remember.

I really like Byki. I have both this app, as well as their desktop clients in multiple languages. It does have it's drawbacks, but the format is great for beginners and the availability of expansion lists are nearly endless. An absolute must for beginners, and definitely helpful for intermediate speakers.

I have Byki Deluxe for Brazilian Portuguese on my home computer and postiviely love it!!! You can imagine my disappointment when I realized that Byki for iPhone only contained the first three lessons. This application should only be considered for learning the most rudimentary phrases in several different languages, and should not be confused with the full application.

Fantastic but... Minor tweak needed Improvements I'd like is if the full text in English and Portugese were visible without an extra tap to open and a second to close the text expansion and to be able to see the entire sentence while listening to the Portugese. This would make it five star!!!
