I was reluctant to purchase it because it's a bit pricy, but you can see that the developers put effort into this App. Great UI and even the ability to download more lessons, really cool!

This app would be much better if it had an indication at the top level of which lists you had mastered, which were in progress, and which unstarted. Ideally it would also combine lists and teach/test cards you haven't mastered across a set of lists. As it is it's only of limited use for serious learning. There are plenty of good learning models this app could use. Considering the cost it should do more.

I stunned by the amount and quality of the content in this app. It's not perfect, but darn near. Please add indicators from list selection area showing where you stand on learning lists. I heard there is a desktop app too. Do they tie together? I see 4 languages out. Do you plan on putting out other languages? Put out Mandatin and you have me for that too! Great work!

I really enjoy this program, but there are a few features it needs. The ability to select multiple catagories would be helpful so that one can review all known material out of catagorical context, which is the real test of retention; also, having the option to turn the Leitner algorithm off would allow the user to run through all known material quickly when just a refresher is desired. I would like the option to change the language order in the quizes, so that the program provides you with the english word and you have to choose between italian options below. Also, having the program start up where you left off is essential for an iphone app which you will inevitably have to stop and start a lot when you are using the other functions of your phone. Finally, right now there are only one thousand words in the available lists, I really hope this is expanded in the future. That being said, this is my favorite italian app; the spaced repetition is great for learning new information quickly, and the words and phrases are well chosen for someone trying to build a useful vocabulary.

Hats off to the creators, they could charge $20 for what you get. This is the closest you come to a perfect app. I have many Italian apps, but this one by far is the best. Great study guide and east to use. Well planned and excuted. I just wish there was more lessons. For it leaves me huggery for more.

This is an amazing app!! Definitely worth every penny. You can even download additional word lists for free!! Out of all my Italian apps this has quickly become my favorite!! Very user friendly and well organized. Great unique features. Makes learning Italian loads of fun!!! Hope you enjoy it as much as me.

Get pocket language. I just downloaded their free version and it is superior than this app. With this u don't learn a language; u just memorize disconnected phrases that leave u oblivious in a real situation. I wish I could get my money back!

Needs more words

After I ungraded my iPod Touch to the new 3.0 operating system I can not get Byki to work. It begins to load and then zaps you out to the iPod Home screen. If I do a "hard" boot on my iPod Byki will load and display the first screen before freezing. My iPod has 32gb of memory. I thought Byki was ready for the new 3.0 OS?

Great app but I wish that you could make your own flashcards without buying the pro desktop version. I allready bought this version, why do I need to buy another just to male my own flashcards? And the online ones by other users can be wrong (I found many for Italian). Other than that, great app.

My Italian isn't all that great but they need to start adding some intermediate content.

this program would probably be good if it worked - instead it's an $8 program that crashes immediately with 3.0. Should suspend downloads until fixed, very bad business.

Yeah since I upgraded to 3.0..... My byki italian stopped working! Fix it please!

I too, have upgraded my firmware to 3.0 and now Byki Italian does not work. I just purchased it last week just before the upgrade. For $7.99 IT SHOULD WORK!

I just upgraded to a new Apple 32gb 3g S and installed my BYKI app. It freezes up after entering the learn mode and choosing any list. In fact it locks up my entire Iphone and requires a reset of my phone. I purchased your Italian app for iphone and used it successfully in my previous 16gb 3g Iphone. Is there a workaround or an update due. I found your tech support by telephone to be totally unusable. After nearly 20 minutes on hold, a recorded message tells me there are no tech support people to answer my questions and I had to leave a phone message. As yet no reply. Your tech support email provided on the iphone, gets returned to me as undeliverable. I have registered, upgraded to the latest versions, and used all versions on my desktop and Iphone. Your programs are very intuitive and probably the best out there, but your support is frustrating, to say the least. Consequently I can only award you 2 stars because of your support. I am going to request a full refund from Apple if the software you provided for the iphone can not be used. I am leaving for Italy in September and need the software to be usable.

I have purchased two of your apps... This one and the german one... I was loving it until the upgrade 3.0 when it stopped working. YOU HAVE HAD PLENTY OF TIME TO FIX IT, YET YOU HAVE NOT DONE THAT... I WANT MY $$$$ BACK!!!

this is a great app but it needs work. i downloaded it and to my surprize i cant hear sound on the new Iphone 3g S.
