Here are a few tips to get even more out of CameraBag. Start doubling up on the filters! Choose a filter and save the photo. Open it again from the iPhone's camera roll and choose a second filter.

The "Helga" tool is to mimic the artfully imperfect vignetting/saturation/variable focus that was common with the plastic lensed medium-format camera branded as Holga which was marketed as an extremely affordable camera to the Chinese in the 1980s. The "Lolo" tool is to mimic the Lomo LC-A a Russian camera known for its blown out colors and sometimes artful, sometimes atrocious blur from long exposures.

This is great because I totally hate the iPhone camera, and I feel like I can actually share some pix washed through Camerabag! I would also be very interested to see a (slight) fisheye effect. And possibly an infrared. I like that there are no level adjustments etc. I just want to make an "insta-cool" image. I do enough photo editing on Lightroom for my business; the last thing I want to do is fully edit my iPhone photos. Great job! I am REALLY looking forward to seeing new effects roll in with future updates. :)

This app takes any and all flaws of the iPhone camera and makes them assets. Any focus issues, lint or grease on the lens, waviness (jello effect) due to subjects in motion, low light graniness, all look good with one of the many camera effects simulators in CameraBag. Basically, the output looks as though you MEANT to take the rough shot that you did. I use CameraBag as my main camera app, and upload pictures on the go using the Facebook App. The ability to crop and resample images, in addition to the camera effects makes the pictures look really retro when posted. Especially if you just like to take pictures of things you see on a daily basis, CameraBag makes these shots interesting for others to look at. The developers of CameraBag have also been very good at providing updates for performance and even adding new cameras!

I love this app. And I hate fake reviews! Know that this is not one. It seems a little chuggy not sure if thats cause I'm shooting at max image size or what but I shoot some concert images tonight and they were great! Just joined a group on flickr that shares these images. you should too. have fun!

Just bought it. I read reviews before I purchased it and I had mixed feelings on buying it. This is a real review. Buy it. I bought face melter and was looking for something like this it's great. If it's a little slow change the settings it works great.

If you like lomos and toy cameras then you have already probably downloaded this app. Personally I love this app and for $5 it was an easy choice. Great results for a pseudo digi lomo.

I use photogene too and I like them both. I really like the one touch fix up you can use to make your underexposed and "lacking" photos look nice. I look forward to more filters in an update. I dont want to think to hard about 2 megapixel photos and camera bag allows them to just look cool with little thought. Thanks

I typically only get the free apps but this app was well worth the money, and it's on sale! Camerabag makes an ordinary plain photo look outstanding. I love the different filters and how they drastically make any photo look more artistic. I can't wait to see the updates and what new filters there will be!

This is by far the quickest, easiest way I've found to get interesting photos out of my iPhone camera. I love the different effects, and I'm very pleasantly surprised at the results. Instant character.

I've rediscovered the camera on my phone due to this app. I've read reviews saying that using photoshop is better than this (of course it is, it's a powerful photo editing tool for a desktop/laptop), but to be honest I don't want to take the time to jump on my computer to play with effects, saturation, contrast and the like on a photo I snapped with my phone. If you want full featured software, go with photoshop, but if you want fun filters on the fly to add a little creativity to an otherwise lackluster phone camera, then I wholly recommend camerabag. Sidenote: For better photo framing (instead of the annoying gray bars over the frame in camerabag) use the default iPhone camera, then open this app to use the filters. 10/30/08: It was a good effort, but the fisheye filter is a little disappointing. If it were full framed with the rounded effect, then it might be better, but as it stands it makes the photo look like a ball bearing. Even with this gripe, I still recommend this app.

This app does exactly what it says. I have not been prone to more than a couple of crashes and I use this all the time. Developers also have been churning out updates based on feedback. I love this app.

I love this little app - it gets better with every release - please please PLEASE include the ability to email in future release!! I Flickr everything from camera bag, but I have to switch applications to make this possible... It's almost perfect, we just need that option :)

Just the 1974 filter alone is fantastic. I've always loved those old photos that were so rich and warm. This app recreates them perfectly. They keep adding new filters and I can't wait for the next round of them.

When I first got this app I was dissapointed because of the poor picture quality and little selection of effects... But after the update the picture quality is great and the effects come down in a drop down bar with new effects added. THANK YOU!!!

great camera action love the pictures saves alot of time instead of using photoshop all the time and u can show ur friends and send them it awesome if ur in love with vintage stuff this is a great app.
