Dope Wars as it was supposed to be called is a turn-based strategy computer game in which the player simulates the role of a drug dealer. The game's objective is to make the maximum amount of money within a limited time. The object of the game is to deal the most drugs to pay off the "loan shark" (who charges interest) by the end of the game and make a profit.

Nothing spectacular, but it does the proper *wars fine. I'd love to see some options, like making the number of days you play longer, even if there's no scoreboard for the custom days, or make it a set 30/45/60/90 and have seperate scoreboards. The color choices are a little so-so, sometimes too dark, like the buttons at the front menu or whatever the colored icon is supposed to be when you travel, the blue/red thing. So that could do with a little bit of tweaking. But over all, I'm happy with the purchase and glad I finally have a dopewars game on the phone, even if it's not dope.

Had a very similar game on every palm that I've ever had. Very good version, going to take a while to get used to the new names of things but still great. A bargain at $0.99, even though it was free for palm. I can't believe that the app store isn't full of similar apps, its felt like an eternity waiting these six months. Buy it you'll love it.

I picked this game up to give it a try as it was a spin off of the old dope wars. The touch buttons made this game so simple. I found it a bargain for the diversion from work it has created!

Bug was fixed. Reminds me of dope wars, but not as in-depth. Lots of fun, wish there were buttons to withdrawl and deposit all. Worth a buck.

Love it, Was waiting for Dopewars to come to iPhone... But this works just as well! It does freeze up in me from time to time, once when I was trying to submit a really high score! Hope that gets fixed soon!

Was really looking forward to a game like this.

This is a great app, it's worth the price. Although I'm sure it can be improved. Sometimes it would just freeze up so I had to put my phone to sleep & start it again. I'm sure with simple improvements it'll be the perfect game. :]

Catamount did us a service by reinventing this game to fit within Apple's standards. The game is fun, fast paced and just the right amount of time for a quick break in the day. Love it.

This game is just as addicting as similar tech on my TI-83. Worth every penny (all 99 of them)... You can't go wrong!

I played this so much on my palm and now will waste more time on iPhone. One thing though prices rarely hike if u have the item and they should ditch the cheaper candy that makes no profit. I miss sky high prices every other city!

Great game. I have a lot of fun playing in between classes at college and on the train.

Awesome game. Reminds of being in highschool with my TI83 flunking algebra. Wish it had a longer time limit though, 30 days is too short.

Although containing most of the original features, this version is far more difficult. You'll run into the FDA agents on the first day and they'll take all your money. You can't borrow very much money from the loan shark, and there is no interest for keeping money in the bank. Also, there is a nasty bug which has the FDA chasing you in an endless loop where you'll have to click Run or Dust almost endlessly. Wait for a newer release before you buy.

I've been waiting for this to come out for the iPhone, as I loved dope wars for the palm. One thing that would make it even more like the original would be to have interest accrue on the money u put in the bank, but that's pretty nitpicky. Otherwise, great game!

This game is fun, funny, and really addicting. This is one game I would be willing to pay more for. I look forward to seeing more games from Catamount Software

Really cool game, although the freezes are driving me crazy. I have to power off/on the get rid of them. If that was fixed, I'd give it 4 stars.

I am revising my review, I got this game when it is free, it was fun but time limit shorten the game play to 1/2 hr. That is if u can get through without crashing or freezing. At first it wasn't that bad, but it is getting worst and worst. They really need to fix these memory leak issues.

Personally I'd never pay 12k for a Lollipop, but hey sugar head's gotta get d'ems candy! Very fun game there are some minor bugs, like being able to hold more candy then your allowed (my best is 365/330). Worth every penny.

The game is fun IF you can get through one without it crashing, freezing or having any one of numerous other odd occurences happen.

I like the game but I'm wondering if you could please add some more depth?maybe storehouses that can be purchased and cars that help evade the FDA? I get tired of the two same old screens. ******Also Please please please please remove the time limitation. It would bring you many more customers trust me

I'm totally addicted. Each update makes the game all the better! I would have hurt someone at the Orlando airport if it weren't for this game.

This game is very fun, addicting, and challenging. It really makes you think and has a lot of replayability value. However, this game would be flawless if it had an infinite day option. I feel that even after 90 days (the longest) I haven't done much. Please put in an unlimited day option. If it's put in, then this game is easily 5 stars, but until then it's only: 

I'm a fan of this type of game-buy low, sell high-but if it's so slow that it takes 45 seconds to change cities or buy lollipops it turns into a game that makes you angry. The frequent changes make me want my buck back.

The only thing I think the game needs is a price showing you how much you bought the candy for since you buy candy and sit on it until there is a big bust then sell. I think once that change is made it will be a great game. Also the crashes get very frustrating.

Good game. What made the original game great was frequent sales/hikes. Graphics could use some updating too.

Good rendition of a classic (Dope Wars). Knocked off 1 star due to some bugginess around the scoring system.

I've been pleasantly surprised at how much fun this game is. Have been playing it for the past 2 hours. No crashes and no bugs so far. Just a lighthearted fun time.

I'm glad I got it for free. It really needs a tutorial so you know how to make money.

This app is so awesome but it gets boring after playing it 10 or so times. If your ever wanting a fun game to play, choose this one, but dont expect the fun to last too long.
