Carambole is fun game that will keep your attention. I found myself quickly playing this for an hour without realizing it. As the dev said, the objective is to hit two or more of the same color ball. Of course, there are a few things that make the gameplay challenging. First are the different color balls. As there are several different colored balls in play, one ball is chosen or highlighted after each turn, and that is the color in play at that time. You don't have the option of selecting which color ball you want to put in play so you'll need to think strategically about how your hit impacts the next play. The number of colors increases as you move through each level. Second is the time limit. You won't have much time to plan, so you need to react and shoot as fast you can to clear the table within the time limit. The devs added a resume game function so you can start at the last level you completed which is a nice touch. I noticed a slight lag when it came to positioning the ball and shooting, and it can be difficult to place the ball exactly where you want. On occasion, I found myself shooting the ball prematurely. My suggestion is to make the aim and shoot a two-step process: 1) add a button asking if this is the spot you want to shoot from (nothing obtrusive; this can a be little button next to the menu icon); 2) once confirmed, then you can shoot. I think you'll find Carambole a fun diversion.

I'm enjoying this game. I do wish there was an option to play without the timer, or adjust it. I'm looking foward to more levels.

played 30 levels so far, worked great for me!

First time I played the game I got to level 60. Next time I played it started crashing at random. Fix that and it gets five stars.

I love this game, but (even after the update) it crashes at level 29. I am getting sick of having to keep replaying that level :/

The update just improved the game by miles~ However, now I get too many crashes. Not sure if it's the update or just a bug in the level I am at (47). Either way, it's the reason why I gave one less star. Also is it possible to inlvude aiming at angles? And perhaps add adjusting spin?

Update with power controls gives much more fine tuned control over the ball, takes the game from okay to quite fun. Nice, graphics, music and strategy progression.

I like the concept, sort of like trick shots, but with a twist. Sadly the controls and physics need some improvement to be a 5 star game. It's hard to aim and get a good shot and the ball doesn't always respond as you think it should. I have hopes for this game, can't wait for the updates. Update: The latest update addressed all my issues. Great job!

It is difficult, but so much fun! great game for those who love pool games. I am looking forward to new levels.

I started the program 4 times and all 4 times it crashed

Wasn't too sure of the game play on this at first but after a few plays I was going through the levels. I've gotten to level 10 in about 15 minutess and it was a fun and challenging game to play. I like this game although the ball sometimes seems to not respond so a four star. Still would recommend this game to all. Will keep it on my Touch.

It's a good game... but it crashes way to much

not great; gets frustrating! Fun though. There needs to be a way to turn off the timer. Do it and you will get 5/5.

It's good but could be better

Could be fun if the controls were better. The balls don't respond well when you are trying to position them for the shot. Fix this and it could be a keeper. Good start though.
