Cartoon Wars is an excellent game with some interesting characters and great animations. The latest in the series, Cartoon Wars Gunner, focuses more on a side-scrolling fighting game this time around. Anyone familiar with Double Dragon, Ninja Turtles, Battletoads, or Castle Crashers will immediately understand the feel of the game. The player controls the lone character on the screen and the goal is to eliminate all enemies in the road. As the player goes through levels, they will earn money that can be spent on upgrading weapons and features. Each level grows harder and requires better upgrades to complete them.
