In Chocolate Shop Frenzy you must help Emma achieve her dream of becoming a chocolate shop owner. Emma’s just quit her marketing job and taken out a loan for the store. You’ve got to successfully run the shop for a year and make a profit in order to pay back the money. You’ll mainly be tapping away at the screen in order to give your customers a menu, make their chocolate, deliver it and then pick up your earnings. However, as well as this time management element there are also some match three stages within the game to break up the action a little. This is the first game I bought for my iTouch and I don't regret it at all. It's really fun, simple and addictive. It's more or less the same as Diner Dash and Cake Mania, only with a different setting. You basically walk around a chocolate shop and make chocolate for people. You have machines there to help you, and they get upgraded often. There is also an aspect of the game that is very similar to Bejewled, where you rearrange different candies in order to make new recipies. I suggest you try the free version first, and if you like it, buy the premium editon. It seems like an ideal game for females, but I'm certain anyone can enjoy it. :^)

This is a really great game. Very fun to make all that chocolate. The levels run a little too fast though, sometimes I feel like I'm just getting going and the shop closes. But is does always leave me wanting more. I like how at each level a different upgrade or challenge is added. I would recommend this game to anyone- it is a very well done and polished game.

I think my manhood was being tested with Sally's Salon. Now that I can enjoy the same type of obsessive compulsive gaming that is so addictive with chocolates, I am very happy. Yes, the game is a bit simple at times, and maybe a future update can add more mechanics to it, but overall I am pleased and feel that it is worth the eight dollars and something odd cents (and why is Apple charging us tax by the way when we are purchasing these items off of the internet and they cannot be sold in their local stores?).

This app is SO past Cake Mania. Emma is so much more realistic and engulfing than Jill...and even the touchscreen-only gameplay exceeds that of a PC's! The graphic/art style is clean and eye-catching and the music is well-composed and upbeat. I love the implementation of an excellent storyline and minigames! It would be a terrible mistake not to purchase this app right now. P.S...the phone issue needs to be dealt with. After installing this app and restarting my iPod (which I always do, in order to prevent technical issues and crashes), I've not run into any problems.

I got hooked playing the lite chocolate shop, so I purchased the full game. After paying the $4.99, the application kept shutting down. I have emailed Apple as well as Digital Chocolate, and since Apple cannot help with applications, I have asked for a refund from Digital Chocolate. We'll see what happens....

I just bought a brand new iphone, only a week old. I put this app on it and, now it keeps shutting down and the game won't load. The phone has stalled, (so to speak) and this is/was the phone of my dreams. Now I see why it became free. fix this app. Or, just give me a refund.

This is a fun casual game. I'm glad I bought it. Basically, the idea is you have to make chocolate for the customers, give it to them, and collect your money (just like Cake Mania if you've ever played it). As the game progresses, there are more options for making the chocolate, and the game gets harder.

I've had this application since Christmas 08 and it hasn't crashed my Touch even once! I love these sorts of games and wish someone would create more like this and Sally's Salon. My only frustration is not being able to reach the expert goal on many of the upper levels, since I AM a perfectionist...but at least I have a reason to keep playing the game!
