Let's face it, there are just way too many new apps out everyday and its nearly impossible to figure out which ones I'm going to like. Chorus is the app I've been waiting for... it helps me cut through the noise to find the best apps base on which ones my friends like and which apps are similar to the one's I've already gotten. The interface is really slick and I've already found a couple of great apps. Highly recommended!

I discovered the Chorus Application from a friend and I am so pleased that I found it. The application makes sharing cool applications with my Facebook friends so easy. I can get reviews that I actually trust. Also the grabber feature is pretty neat. This application is a keeper!

I am amazed to see such a glitch-free app on it't second day since launching. This app provides people with a way to "shake things up". If you are ever feeling bored of your regular apps and are looking for some reccomandations on what apps to buy, you've come to the right. My mom was a part of marketing the app and I really got to see this app develop. I believe this app is a great odea and it has a lot of potential!

This is truly a sensational application. I cannot believe no one thought of this idea till now. It’s the best way to search for apps. Now that I have Chorus intelligently recommending apps to me, I find myself downloading a lot more apps. Until now I had no idea some of these apps even existed. I especially like the free section in Chorus. And the best part is, I know what all my friends are downloading. Chorus is like a facebook for apps. I’m in love with my phone all over again.

Who do you trust more?

Random peeps or your friends? I was just in Napa this past weekend and used Yelp to find what I hoped would be a great dinner spot. Obviously about half the reviewers were associated with the restaurant because the place was so average, no way it deserved 4.5 stars. Chorus helps you cut through the clutter of useless and unnecessary apps (and save wasted $$$) by relying on the people you trust most ... your friends. Plus, I don't have time to keep up with all of the daily changes in apps, I just let my friends do the dirty work for me. This is a clean and easy to use app ... and its free. I like free! Just wish had thought of this earlier ...

I do like Genius but this goes way beyond. It's got my friends, which is crazy and a perfect filter for apps once you get them to add this. The Maven thing is also cool - like a DJ for apps. UI is gorgeous.

Good idea, poor implementation

They advertise it as having seasoned reviews-- in case you don't have friends using this app to share recommendations with-- but the "recommendations" I read from these reviewers were very bland, noncommittal, and basically fence sitting... Not definitive or helpful at all, more soft commentary than review. Perhaps it's better when using with your friends, but I just deleted it.

I had hoped to find an application that offers an alternative method of discovering new apps. Since this program requires registering a new account, I didn't make it past login prompt.

Can't get people to sign up and it's spammy

While I find the idea of this intriguing I am having trouble convincing my friends to try it so it is rendered pretty much useless. On top of that it seems to spam everything twice on both Twitter and facebook and I can find no way to turn these notifications off or remove my account info so I have to go in and manually delete stuff. It's a pretty nice interface otherwise but overall I'm probably better off just asking my friends if they have any cool apps I should check out.

iTunes Genius Doesn't Stand a Chance!

Genius was announced by Apple as a way to recommend apps based on what you've already bought. It never gets things right and I've never found a new app through that feature? Why cause it's artificial inteligence and very bad at making recommendations!

Great addition to the App Store

This is what Apple's app store is missing-social networking integration. This app is nice. Pretty UserInterface, fast loading and interesting features.

Good app... easy to use, easy to set up. i'd much rather see what my friends are downloading than surf all over the store, and have to depend on reviews of random strangers. Cool stuff...
