I had no idea anything like this existed anywhere. This is a great idea for an app, and it works amazingly. There's never a skip in the music and the sound quality is great.

Absolutely floored by this one. Good quality recordings, easy search, simple yet elegant interface. And it's FREE! Thanks to all involved, from the artists themselves to the folks who brought it to my iPhone. Cudos! Awesome item.

i'm a big fan of wolfgang's vault, but this app is missing some features to make it decent. for one, a search feature would be nice. otherwise i need to add favorites via the website. which i'll do, but it's a little silly. hopefully in the 1.1 release, we'll see that feature.

The only thing keeping it from a full 5 star rating is the slight break between songs. It does result in a slight abrupt jolt that stems from the transition from sound to immediate silence then sound again...but this has typically been during the "applause" phase between certain songs (when there were voiceovers during the original broadcasts). If you're a true music fan, you already know there can be minor imperfections to overcome when you've been blessed with the opportunity to experience live music from your favorite artists that's rarely ever (or never) been available before. So far the sound quality itself has not been an issue. Regarding Pathmark12's (review #15) inappropriate and ultimately hasty, premature (and immature) 1 star rating: in the future, read the description thoroughly before you buy (or at least before you review), it clearly states a wi-fi connection is required for the iPod touch. This app's overall rating does not deserve to be compromised by an impulsive reviewer who didn't take the time to read, or who couldn't understand, the description. Fantastic app, full of previously buried treasure.

like the site and love this app...been using it more than pandora so far cause you can actually pick specific tracks.

An unbelievable app. All of Bills recordings and wonderful GUI and extras Takes me right back to the late sixties and early seventies when R&R was R&R!!!!! My favorite iPhone app Would pay $9.99 or higher in a flash!!!

I was shocked when I heard about this app. , but I was blown away when I downloaded it to my iPhone, it was said best in another review, "the way I look at it I paid $200 for this app and all the other stuff, phone, ipod,movie player, web browser, etc,etc,etc... came with it for free!!" my classic rock library was has just increased ten fold with this app. Thank you, from the bottom of my classic rock lovin soul for this app.

I've been using this app for a week and have really enjoyed it. Some great concerts & even some interviews for almost every artist/band you can think of....

amazing that we now have such easy access to such fantastic musical nuggets. the quality and beauty of some of these recordings is remarkable. I used to wait weeks to receive crappy, hissy "tapes" of these recordings back in the days of tape-trees and bootlegging. THANK YOU for providing a new platform for this fantastic live music! -only constructive criticism I have is that you need to be on the wolfgangs vault app screen in order to hear things- as soon as you go to another screen - this app closes. it's be great if you could 'multitask' at the same time as listening to my all-time favorite version of floyd's "grandchester meadows"! can't complain though - this is by far my favorite music app!

This one is unbelievable... The way I see it,, I paid $199.00 for this app. & got the phone, gps, Ipod, & all the rest of the stuff for free... Glad I got it now while its free.... cuz i would have paid $199.00 for this one... But Shhhh... thats our secret... Unreal.. I Found a J. Geils show from mid 70's that i was at.... didnt even know it was recorded... now I have it forever... God bless you Wolfgang ,, Thank you......

I just found out about application from a review. I hadn't known about the Wolfgang's Vault website, but what an amazing selection of live music. About the only thing missing is the ability to add concerts as favorites from the app, instead of having to add them on the website.

If you enjoy live music this is a must have!

Please fix the recent update. When I'm connecting to my car the iTunes starts to play like usual. When I use the Wolfgang app it turns on for 5 sec then it automatically reverts back to the iTunes music. Please fix. Thanks

Frequent online listener. The app for iPhone is great. Great access to music. I use it at home and where I have dedicated wireless access. I cannot speak to just 3G access and success.

App doesnt let me browse or search. The only concerts i could hear are the most watched. I will see if it works tomorrow if not im deleting it.

Absolutey cannot get the app to work with any consistently. Web site is awesome. To bad the app stinks

This is a great app, if you like great classic rock you have to have this app, one of my favorites.Never had a any trouble with it, no hang ups or freezes.
