I would put a minus but can't. I always reset my 3g 16gig after every installed app. To avoid problems I installed, uninstalled and reinstalled deleated redownloaded with no luck. Before a app. goes up for sale apple supposedley test them. So apple knew app. did not work so I feel apple is just as much at fault. Like the review before me I was mac for years and never been disappointed until now. There are laws against False advertisement and misrepresientation. This applacation DOES NOT work as claimed. What's up Apple? Credit? Refund? Responce? Is it all about the dollar?

This is the worst application possible for data security. It is excessively cumbersom to use and nothing seems to work like it says. A total and complete waste of money. Dont buy unless you want to toss two bucks down the john!

I use Data Guardian on my Mac for both work and personal use. I find it very useful. Having all of my password information encrypted on my iPhone is awesome ! It does work with the latest versions on both Mac and iPhone. It currently does not SYNC. You have an option to upload or download the database to and from your iphone. Real bidirectional syncing is what's needed, then my review will change to 5 stars.

I bought it for $ 5.99 and soon after price was dropped to $ 1.99. It crashes whenever records are copied, selection fields need to re-entered every single time. Sync Field - but sync how and with what ? Interface looks pedestrian - at best. Vendor asked me to wait for new release - an unasked money-back would be a better response. PLEASE KOINGO - get serious.
Read the Fine Print - Not 1G Touch?

As an avid Apple customer since the Apple II, and as a loyal user of Data Guardian on Macbook Pro for many years, I immediately downloaded DG App. Ooops! for some inexplicable reason, DG does NOT work on 1G Touch. Since I bought my Touch two months before 2G, this has been particularly painful. DG is the first non-phone App that I have bought that does not work on 1G Touch. Koingo works pretty hard for customers, but let me down on this one. I hope they are listening.

Uninstalled it and can't re-instal it. I noticed it was not featured in iTunes store for a few days and thought that it had been fixed. No way of telling now! I sent them an email and never got an answer. Good luck if you buy this app! This app does not deliver what it offers. If it is fixed, my score will change. Some of the issues are: 1. Email. Not operational. 2. Telephone calls. Not operational 3. Icons. Non existent. 4. Labels. Non functional. In addition, UI is unfriendly. Their alleged strongest selling point (customizable fields) is limited and format is messed up upon exiting app. The idea behind this app is nice but it does not deliver.

Once I read and watched tutorials, with one exception, my use of Data Guardian as a secure database for both Mac OS X, iPhone and Windows XP works. Only complaint is that more work on intelligent synchronizing of databases is needed (or I need to devise a better scheme) and better debugging of upgrades.
