This is by far the BEST dating app I've found so far on the iPhone. I love the additional features, in this app, over it's sisters free version. Although the Cover Flow view of people is the sexiest feature, the one I love the most is the ability to see the Summary of how we match and then look at all their answers. Oh, and the best part of this app is that you don't have to pay any on-going fees to use it like you do with Match, SpeedDate and Hot or Not. Great job--keep it up!

Ok.. I was skeptical at first about purchasing an app. This is the only one I've purchased, and I must say, it is definately worth the purchase over the free version. Having said that, this app is a gateway into an already well established web-based dating community. The iPhone app is more of a companion tool to the web service. This app loads MUCH FASTER than the 4.1 free version on the AT&T EDGE network. Email works great, and the additional features such as extended bios, GPS capability, and faster chat room/discussion boards are a definate must. If you're looking for a service to meet new people, and potentially find the love of your life, this app is your oportunity. The community is great, and growing!

The free app is good; the paid app would be better if it didn't crash as frequently when deleting matches from the list view. Gives a BSOD (black screen of death). Reseting the iPhone didn't cure the problem.

Real people! -- If you don't like the small fee for this app then get the free version cause this service rocks! -- The enhancements in Plus are well worth the price.

A genuinely good idea

Love this edition. I kept having to log on to the web version, now I can just use DNA on iPod. Really convenient and worth the $5.

Dating DNA's service is Free. I think $5 for this app is a bargain, or you can choose to use the website or free app as well and pay nothing.

The $5 extra is well worth the price. Enhancement is significant. Program does tend to crash

Great app! You can't go wrong either way - free or paid version, although the paid version offers many more options and it's much quicker! It's only $4.99...worth every cent!

First let me just say that no app developer team has ever been so attentive in responding to my questions, as they have answered my questions within hours. Second, its only a $4.99 ONE TIME FEE: Some people are acting like this is a monthly subscription, which is not true. It is faster than a free version and you can see more info about your potential match and the reasons why you were matched. What's really fun about this app is that you can set up your location (or where you currently are) and find members as close as within a mile, within a block, within a building and even within the same room as you are! The toughest part was to fill-out the initial questionnaire, but after that, the app takes care of the rest. Even if you don't find the love of your life using this app, you can really learn about yourself just by taking the questionnaire and see who you are compatible with. There is even a fun little "Match Game" you can play and you can also connect to other member's MySpace, Facebook, Twitter and other websites that they have set up so you can learn more about them. There is also a built-in chat room, which usually has at least a handful of random members, but that number should grow once the Dating DNA expands.

Um... so this app paired me up with people who are total opposites of what I wanted and what I put... simply.. I prefered a certain race, look etc.. it gave me all the opposites as well as 1 out of 22 that were perfect.. um needs work.. also very buggy.. keeps crashing! ALOT~!

I like the service, but the one thing I don't like is that it puts up matches of people who do not fit your physical requirements. Like my ideal weight for a mate is 111-115lbs, yet I'm matched with people way past that. Also when you specify a certain ethnicity, it still brings up all ethnicities. The good thing though us that you can delete those people and they don't show up again. All in all it's a great app and site, just wish it did a better job of matching your preferences.

Great app for $4.99 it's perfect! Most date sites like this one charges 30 to 40 $ if ur looking for a good date site then get it!

Totally worth a few bucks

This app is worth the few bucks you spend on it I have been meeting people from all over the city as well as country. And the matching system is actually quite good. The 1 problem I see is that it does freeze from time to time. If your single and looking to end that this might just be for you. Try the free version first. It is basically the same. Good luck

Buyers be aware this app crash 8 out 10,then you have to logging again, other than that it's great....

It crashes a lot and updating profile take about 12 attemts per section and there is about 12 sections

It's impossible to update your questionnaire without the program crashing. The app also crashes at random intervals. Not only that, but the app really doesn't add that much functionality over the free version. All in all, this is NOT worth the money. Stic with the free version.

If you get about 90secs at anytime, before crashing you are doing well. That's my usual time span and then crashes.

It mite crash a few times but other than that this app is great. I liked the free version so much that I bought the plus edition!

If it weren't for the crashes I think the app and the site concept would be perfect. It's detailed, free, the app is well priced and it's so easy to use and evaluate proper matches. Good way to meet friends. Just wish there were more users and less freezing!

It's sooooooooooooooooo slow (3gs with full bars). Lots of hangups and lots of crashing. You tell it you don't want to see fat girls and it shows you fat girls. Small user base. Has potential but needs work.

There is a website as well. It is totally free except for the plus app. It does everything other services like match.com do.

I loved the free app so much that I wanted to support dating DNA and their services but there is no push notifications on the plus edition!!! Please fix and then I will be very happy!

Great app that is well designed. After playing around with free version, I purchased the one-time-cost $5 version to get more features, and feel it is worth it, to find the right person. Alot of great care has been put into this app's design. Only issues I have with it are: The limited matches sent to me for my area(this will change as app gets more popular), The occasional crashes(not bad), The lack of encouragement to put specific details about yourself that help people show their personality and stand out. Overall, I am very happy with this app, after one day of ownership.

With the new update, It no longer crashes. It just needs more members.

This is such an amazing and refreshing service, I bought the paid version just to demonstrate how thrilled I was with the whole setup. After eharmony soaked me and left me disappointed, I would never have tried DNA had it not been for the free app. I was actually expecting to get shut out like I was with eharmony's "free trial." I was delighted to find the free version included all the essentials to get to know matches beginning within a few minutes. The matches actually do match with me and the process, in sharp contrast to my eharmony experience, was consistently swift and smooth. Of course not every match is a keeper, but with DNA at least you won't have to invest days, weeks, or months of your life in order to find out you don't fit together. And since it's free, there tends to be less resentment over matches that don't work out. I actually believe DNA matches are plain nicer than eharmony matches! The sense of being engaged in an austere potential-spouse-inquisition is conspicuously--and refreshingly!--absent from the process. Despite the fact that both free and paid versions crash excessively (even after you follow the troubleshooting advice for this issue), I rate this app at the top of my list of favorite apps.

It's in your blood to find tha person who makes you complete and tha friend who's always there to make your life so much better.. That's why I join DNA in search for tha better half of me and tha friend who's always there for me :) all I can say it's worth it and it works / don't think bout it buy it you won't regret it later...

As someone who has a pretty full & satisfying life, dating/relationships aren't a driving *need*, but it would be nice. However, it's been difficult to meet guys as most in my circle are married. I checked out Match and eharmony and was underwhelmed at best (and creeped out at worst); plus I'm not looking to invest huge amounts of time picking thru 1,000's of profiles and/or personality tests. That's my looong setup for how I was one day browsing apps & came across this one. I figured it would be solely horny/drunk people looking for "casual encounters" -- but I figured I'd check it out. Now, some people like that may be on here, but, that's clearly not what the app itself is about. The first thing I noticed is that the interface is simple, pleasing to the eye, intuitive and very easy to use (skeptic wronged#1); the profile uploading process was brief and was easy, and the little questionnaire stuff was thankfully not exhaustive, yet was insightful (skeptic wronged#2). The moment of truth: the instant matches were a pretty attractive and normal lot (skeptic happily wronged!) - in all, excellent idea, and a very well done app! The only wild card seems to be some strange distances that snuck in... but I may need to check the settings I entered before dinging the developers ;)

This dating app, like most on market, is targeted for ppl in their 20s to 30s. For one is more serious and older, it's a very small group of ppl to check out. Over all, this app has a nice interface, user friendly, quick upload and clear layout. Hope to see more ppl in their 40s and up. Thanks!
