Clever, Fun, Addicting, Buy it!

This is the best mobile phone game I have ever played. The accelerometer controls work extremely well, and the game lets you adjust the starting tilt angle before you begin (so the phone doesn't have to be played completely flat). This is a very nice touch. If you don't want to use the accelerometer, the game also allows you to guide De Blob around by dragging your finger across the screen. Surprisingly, buth these methods work exceptionally well, but can also be combined during game play! I'm stingy when it comes to buying Apps, especially games. But make no mistake, De Blob is a polished product from THQ and well worth every cent. I can't wait to play the 'real' version on my Wii!

Way to go THQ! I've downloaded a lot of the games for the iPhone thus far and this is definitely my favorite! The graphics are good the ability to choose weather to use tilt control or touch control is really nice. The game is fun and addictive as well. I really hope to see more quality games like this one. Definitely get this game.

well, i am one of the people who is waiting for "de blob" on wii so i jumped on this game when I saw it in the appstore. And let me tell you, it's worth every cent i've paid for it. Great fun and use of accelerometer. Also there's something stress releasing about hitting those buildings and coloring them.

A lot of people are complaining about the relative cost of this game. This is just about as fine as any highly touted DS game and there's tons more screen real estate to work with. The game is fun and inventive. Control reminds me a bit of Zelda on the DS.

After playing de Blob for around 20 minutes, I'm a tiny bit disappointed. I liked it and had fun playing it, but the gameplay is pretty simple. The controls are also a little awkward (you tend to get stuck on buildings pretty easily), but they aren't hard to get used to. I think for most people, de Blob just isn't going to be a game where one can sit down and play it for a long time. Still, I think it'll be a fun game to play through one level at a time.

Although normally put down as just a "mobile" version of the console version of de Blob, I thought this game stood up very well in it's own right, and is a lot of fun. The only complaint I have is that there should be a few more levels, but the "free splash" mode kinda makes up for that. Definitely reccomended if you're looking for a fun, simple game to pass some time.

In a nutshell, this game is awesome. The game’s interactivity is engaging, the gameplay is exciting and challenging and the graphics are on par with most DS games if not better. The premise of de Blob is simple…reclaim your homeland by repainting buildings, blobs and land from grey to pretty much any color you like and destroying the INKT bots that get in your way. You have a time limit within each level and a score you must reach but it’s not that hard to complete your tasks well before time expires. Within each level, fellow blobs will offer timed challenges like painting buildings a certain color, destroying the enemies or racing for additional points.

This colorful action puzzler is a refreshing sight for the App Store. This clever little game features both touch-screen and tilt controls, and in a rare sight this early into the App Store it's nice to see the tilt controls respond just as they should. Just in case you feel the tilt controls are a bit uneasy or unnatural for your own play-style, the game offers an in-game calibration screen so you can set your own "rest" zone. This allows you to play the game in any position, at any time, in whatever way feels most comfortable to you.

After seeing all the reviews with 4 or 5 stars, I thought that this game would be awesome and well worth the money, but when I played it. . . . . it was just too repeative and boring. The graphics arean`t that good considering all other app games. This game seems to be the most OVERRATED game in iTunes or any other game I have ever seen. I wouldn`t recommend anyone too buy this game, unless you just love repeative games that seem to have no change in each stage.

Wow, when I read the description of the game, I thought it was kind of goofy, but I read other's reviews, so I bought it. Wow, am I glad I did! This game has great color, sounds, and fantastic gameplay that will surely entertain for hours! If you want a neat game and don't know what one to get, get De Blob. It's cheap, and fun, and totally worth the whole $8 it is. Other games are $10 or more, and are nowhere near this fun! There is one thing that would be cool though: maybe enable WiFi and play with friends.

This game is great, a lot of fun. It's pretty, runs solidly on my iPhone, and responds pretty well to the accelerometer. I do appreciate that you can set the accelerometer to a zero position that's not necessarily flat down... that way you can play while laying down, or whatever's comfortable. Too, you have the option to not use tilt controls at all and just point and click.
