This app is quite nice. Does everything you would want in tracking debt and it does it well.

Easy to use, efficient and helpful. I am currently working on paying off all my credit cards and this will be a great way to help me track my progress.

Would have given 5 stars but needs password protection ASAP. Also needs a way to delete a card.

Well, so far it won't do any math. My payments don't seem to affect the balance. You can't change interest rate without creating a new card. Bummer.

This was the most recent app that has been updated that I saw. It has the password protection and list all the debts for a quick view. I like that if you want to add more to a payment it allows you to add that amount and it will adjust. The beast thing about this it shows the amount used in percentage, so if your wanting to increase your score fast this helps.

Does everything I would have wanted it to do if I had written it myself. Terrific value.

There's another great App called "Find My Friend For Facebook" for only .99 cent, easy simple.

No one asked me to review this product and I'm not the developer's friend. This is my first iPhone App review and I probably will only ever write a few reviews since I lead a crazy busy life. But, after reading the last couple disparaging reviews I decided to download the app and test it myself since I was needing an app like this. Those last two reviews are BOGUS, plain and simple. I don't know what "Rip Off" and "Broken" are referring to but they certainly are NOT talking about DebtTracker Pro. It baffles me when people are quick to slam someone else's work, especially when their reviews are so misleading. This app is great! I entered all my credit card info including balances, interest rates, and minimum payments. The app quickly calculated my payoff with some great views of interest paid and how much gets knocked off each month. I was even able to customize my payoff order and extra payments. SWEET APP! The app works as advertized, is very intuitive, covers all the functions anyone needs to clearly visualize their debt picture and get out of debt, and IS MORE THAN WORTH $3! How much is it worth to get free of debt!! Bottom line... if you have debt, BUY IT!

Due to an error of my own it was not working. Got a response from support in less than 24 hours explaining my error. Works perfectly now. Rating upgraded. Only update would be an ability to email a report to someone.

I have been looking for a app that will work to track the status of my mortgage. This app works great. Might be nice to see an amortization that can be updated after each payment.

I have tried many debt apps, and this is by far the best and cleanest application. It allows you to customize your own debt plan, or choose from a few pre-defined debt plans. It also allows you to compare the pre-defined debt plans to see when you will pay off your credit cards, and how much interest you will pay over that time period. Great app!

The new payment plan feature is excellent. It's a great motivator for helping me pay off my debt.

I really like this application. It helps me keep track of all my debt, but for some reason when I go into the 'Payoff Plan' the ipod just returns to the home screen.

I really enjoyed the passcode requirement specially what it displays before asking for the passcode. If you let anyone use your phone ( like I do ) and they see the DebtTracker app and push it because they are nossy then the app will launch but show a balance of $0.00 before asking for the passcode. Love it!!!!!!!!!!

I have been wondering about my debt, so I bought a different application at first and within an hour, I purchased this app. The instant debt report at your fingertips is great, but it also snowballs our debt in a couple ways as well as remind you when you have a payment due and tracks the interest as well! Its very easy to use and understand.

The program seems useful until you select PAYOFF PLAN, then the application quits (THE COMPANY CLAIMS IT WAS FIXED). It is very frustrating, when you have spent the money buying this app, and more when you've spent all afternoon adding all the info to your iPhone.

Follow everyone elses review about it shutting down after you hit payoff plan... I somehow thought I would be immune, but alas... I was a sucker... No fix in site...

I have been using this program after spending so much time on other apps. Just wish I could export this to e-mail instead of having to write down everything. It would be a 5 star if/when it has this capability.

You cannot select a payoff date for any of your cards or debts. It would be nice for example to choose 6 months or a year from now and have this app calculate what the monthly payment would be to meet that deadline.

There is room for improvement (see below) however this is by far the best and most full features debt planning application available at this time. You can throw away your payment reminder applications (which I now realize I wasted good money on) as it's included as part of this program. Shows you graphs, percentages and when you will be debt free. Unlike most of the others you have an opportunity to compare the 2 main methods of prioritizing your debts and adding extra payments in. Keep in mind that you will want to keep an eye on this program and keep it up to unfortunately it's not completely autonomous. ;) Now for the improvements. 1) Fix the plan preview to show more detail (i.e. Show the individual payments and add a graph) and skimp on the unnecessary elements of that graph. 2) Add the ability to include more then one form of interest categories such as balance transfer, purchases, and cash advances. This way I wouldn't have to estimate what my monthly interest is into a single percentage which is never accurate. 3) Add another method for your plans instead of just showing extra payment add an option to specify the date you want to be debt free! 4) Ugh can't remember.

That makes this app pretty useless and, im my case, a waste of money.

This is a great app, very easy to set up and track my accounts. The payment plan feature works perfectly. I only wish I had started using something like this a long time ago.

Needs an option to delete and edit payments

All of these people are complaining about the app crashing when they try to calculate a plan, but if they didn't enter all appropriate data such as minimum payment and interest rate then it will crash. I mean how can it calculate if it doesn't have any data-dahhh. This app rocks-

The app have PRE-DETERMINED payment plan so you CANNOT ADD YOUR OWN. For example, I want to have a payment plan whereby I can payoff one or more credit cards within 12 months, thus I need to know how much I need to add on a monthly basis. Well, the app CANNOT CALCULATE THAT. So I am STUCK with their pre-determined plan and these plans are USELESS to me. I mean, it give me a payment plan based on my monthly payment, thus the app said I can payoff everything in 7 YEARS. Not very useful information, is it?

I have only just begun to tap into all that this program can do but I am loving it so far. It has been extremely motivating watching one of my debts get paid off and seeing how far I have to go with the others. I especially like the utilization tool because it helps me realize in real terms what my debt ratio is and how much work I have yet to do but that oddly enough is very motivating for me to keep going. All in all I love it so far. The 4 stars is only because I've had it for a short time
