It's such a fantastic concept: a database of customer service numbers with the buttons you need to push to skip the computers (and Indian call centers) to talk to a real, boner fidee Ameerikin who's just positively to be helping you with your problem. Unfortunately, while one of the best ideas I've ever seen, Dial Zero utterly fails in its implementation. It makes you wonder if the developer was under the effects of crack -- I mean, how hard is it to make a search box that actually searches? How about removing banner ads that obscure one of the most vital parts of the program? Don't get me started on the Latest Comments and Head-To-Head sections either -- I can't even begin to guess at their purpose. The sad thing is, Dial Zero for iPhone has a veritable feast of good reviews -- probably because it doesn't include hideous ads on Read More
I apologize for dropping off the face of the Earth on Hidden Gems the last couple weeks, but now I’m back, and have some great apps to share! This app premiered for free and then quickly jumped up to 99 cents. It was a steal at free and in my opinion worth a dollar. It’s the perfect example of an app not possible pre-OS 3.0. Face The Music lets you play any of the music from your music library and then share what you’re listening to on Twitter or Facebook. It works very well and plays the music from the iPod on your iPhone or iPod Touch, so even if you close the app, it keeps playing. Likewise, if you play a song using the iPod and want to share it, just pop over to Face The Music and you’re ready to share. There are other services that are similar to Read More

About that new translucent keyboard
James Baxter 3.0 stars Version: 1.1
Whenever developers go out of their way to ignore Apple interface guidelines, it's a bad trend. And while the concept of the alternate keyboard is worth considering, the way it's implemented here, in ABCDEFG rather than the traditional QWERTY, is disorienting to say the least.
Customer Support Little Black Book
jslewis 5.0 stars Version: 1.0
Two minutes after downloading this application I was speaking with an AT&T customer support representative who helped me change my iphone text message plan. I had spent hours looking for the right number. In many cases these companies don't really want to talk to you. Dial Zero fixes that. Great work. Keep accumulating numbers...we'll pay!
Used to be great but...
Mattzilla86 2.0 stars Version: 1.2
...the keyboard is awful. It went from great to barely usable really fast. If it had been a QWERTY keyboard then I might not hate it so much, but even then designing your own UI elements isn't a great idea. How terrible would the iPhone be if every developer decided to invent their own different interfaces, and we had to get accustomed to each one for every app we have?
This app rules!
Asnpcwiz 5.0 stars Version: 1.0
If you haven't installed this app into your iPhone, you need too. I have already used it several times and it works like a champ. No automated operators, no "press 1 for English"...it just takes you straight to a person. Awesome! A must have!
Brilliant!

sean.maguire 4.0 stars Version: 1.1
You guys did an excellent job with the UI and comments section but it needs a new better looking icon please?
Pleasantly surprised. More useful than I'd expected
Falkirk 4.0 stars Version: 1.0
The first time I came across this app I decided not to download it because it seemed like useless information. But I stumbled across it today and decided to give it a go. I was pleasantly surprised how useful it could be. Let's say you wanted to call AIG. You type in their name, it give you their 800 number (one for AIG and one for AIG Retirement) and instucts you on what buttons you need to push in order to speak to a real live person. I can see how this could come in very handy. And it's free.
Simple and too the point

A real time saver to get around the never ending annoying computer prompts. Nice touch having it dial the main number in phone app. Am definitely going to keep this app – thanks!
Amazing
Manohar Dudda 5.0 stars Version: 1.0
Trust me.. this app is simply cool.. so simple and elegant... installed it .. typed 'bank' and called bank of america and got through with almost no wait.. way to go!!
Extremely useful
DC Wingsfan 5.0 stars Version: 1.2
I have used this to call banks and other companies that make it very difficult to reach a human being. And it works so well. The instructions for what buttons to press after touching the preferred toll-free number are clear and to-the-point. Saves tons of time and aggravation and makes me feel like a VIP.
Love the app, hate the new keyboard.
Fototravis 4.0 stars Version: 1.2
This app does as it says it does. Great idea and easy to find company phone numbers. I only gave it 4 stars because I am not really a fan of the new keyboard on the latest version. I like the old Qwerty keyboard better.
Great App But
Shamu3 4.0 stars Version: 1.1
Its a awesome app for fining phone numbers but really who hasn't figured out pressing zero at the beginging of calls.
Very useful and works well
Perspicacious 5.0 stars Version: 1.0
It does what it says--provides shortcuts to speak to humans and not computers when calling businesses. Invaluable in my book (and free)!
Godsend
imajn9 5.0 stars Version: 1.0
This app is a godsend. It has literally hundreds of companies in its database, and tells you the tricks for getting an operator--you don't even have to look up the customer service number anymore, because they have that handy, as well.
HELPFULL!!!!
zachattk 5.0 stars Version: 1.0
I really like this app. It helped me do a lot faster and without worry! If you like being fast at #'s, get this app. If not, don't. It's really nice.
Awesome now that you can turn off the keyboard
dannodan 5.0 stars Version: 1.2

Michael Ragsdale
RaggieSoft.com 5.0 stars Version: 1.0
Trying to get through Dell support without screaming? Now you can. A couple of hiccups, but worth all 5 stars. Btw: it's FREE!
Excellent! Saves me time.
mangofanatic 4.0 stars Version: 1.1
This program has proven to be very useful from the day that I downloaded it (2 days ago). I've painlessly called Target, Verizon landline, and United Healthcare. Saves me time because I don't have to look up these numbers. The "Tips for other callers" under each entry are also a plus -- these are user comments and tips like "this number is only for billing questions", etc.
Gets the job done!
Dosjon 5.0 stars Version: 1.1
Very stable and quick app. I'm not too sure why they chose to use a HUD alphabet instead of a keyboard, but whatever.
Very useful App
Kotha 5.0 stars Version: 1.0
Very helpful and Time saving application. Only problem is we need type in search everytime even if we used back button.
Very handy app
Erik Mace 5.0 stars Version: 1.0
Not sure if the skipping the machine stuff is too dependable, but just having a quick, easy database of 800 numbers is priceless.
Great App - Works
jgiphone 5.0 stars Version: 1.0
