This is a great twist on the normal tower defense game. The weakness and strength idea is very interesting and it's cool trying out all types of different crystal combinations. It just adds a different feel to it. I can't think of anything negative to say considering it is only $1.

It's an alright game but def no battle field in any respect aside from maybe a bit more polished graphx, but aside from that it's pretty yawn by comparison, and I def rec BF over this one if you don't have ither. This is basicly a boring elemental monsters, and there is no real action just a single tower type that you can add different abilitys to that make slightly different sounds but produce the same action and visual effect for the most part. The enemies are dull in animation and movement, and ther is nothing that sets it apart from the countless other TD type apps in the store, infact it's actually a pretty bad one when you already know the potential of this dev team is far greater. I could only rec this to support the team, rockifone is a great company that truely values it's customer base, tho it may sound contradictory to my rev for this game, it's not. What I mean is they create apps that are at the lowest price for a big bang. You won't see the price on there games go up and down, down and up, and "get it before the price goes back up" slogans every other week. They work hard and are very attentive to consumer feed back, with frequent updates concerning any stability issues etc. I recommend that everyone that has battle field buy this to support a team that deserves to be. Battle field was only a buck and you know the replay value is worth far more, even with all the bugs, it's easily one of, if not the most played game Ive had since the store launch, and not because it's better than other games others might enjoy, but because it's just plain good, no so called "innovative" controls or unneeded zoom zooms, and wam wams, just to be different, just good sound fun, and that's what iPhone / device games should be enless the dev knows what there doing or till futher notice, ie apple makes a game specific device. And I don't mean games like battle field aren't innovative, infact I'd argue you could find a more innovative TD in the store, exp/teleport/steal cash/ health/ stun/ increase power/etc powere ups on top of the fact that it has one of the highest amount of tower selections of any TD in the store! I'd say their innovative and some. And that's why I think rocki deserves your dollar for this game that isn't all that good, if you have battle field that is. SUPPORt YOUR COMMUNITY, community being Indy and small dev companies.

Great tower defense type game with new ideas and some RPG elements, amazing graphics and sound effects, for .99 cents and promised updates it's a must have!! Easily going to be a favorite!!

This is a really fun tower defence game...it's different then fieldrunnners and sentinel in that the app has alot of rpg elements and the combinations of crystals...very fun app...get it now

I am a big fan of TD games. I especially like ones that force you to think strategically, which this one does. I tried the light version first and was impressed. This full version contains so much more: including a story line and difficulty levels. It also let's you zoom in and out. In this game you are defending a wizard, instead of a castle or base. You build crystal towers that contain different powers and powerups depending on the combination of towers you put together. That is where the strategy comes in, you will have too figure out what works best. This game has a lot of polish and is a great deal at .99!

This game is extremely addicting, and I love how you can pause and build towers, customize towers, and speed up the rounds. If you are not sure about buying this game, DO IT NOW. It's a great game, and it's worth at least 2 dollars to me. The only suggestion I could add is make a dark magic tower that can hit anywhere on the map, and it's extremely powerful, but it's slow and expensive. Thank you so much for this app!

Fun and great but hard lol. Even on first lvl if I just build towers I lose life. If I spend 200 on a stone I lose life... Suggestions? Lmao

This is a good one with great graphics. However, like battle field; it favors the enimy. After lvl 40 I atill do not advance to the next field.

I am a minor fan of TD games and this is one of the more interesting I've come across. The wrinkle that makes it fun is that a towers power/ablilities varies with level, starting color and color combinations. The only minor quibble that I have is that towers with 2 of the same color don't have any new special powers (ie a red-green-purple and a red-green-blue tower are different, but there is nothing special for a red-green-red). Sound and graphics are well beyond most of the $1 games, and there are a large number of levels in the campaign; I typically start at easy on these games and have done all the playfields and moved to the next difficulty level in a couple of hours, in way over 10 hours of play I still haven't finished.

So I played the lite and bought this right after. Would have been nice to know what each orb combo did right off the bat but once u get them logged they stay there forever. My golden advice to all who aren't dominating the game like me... Make a lot of 3 orb Purple towers. Cheapest and Strongest of any combo out there. Fully upgraded the min damage is like 700 and u get them cheaper! Also, having triple stones of the same color removes weakness. So you will do +100% more damage to that color and be at normal killing power with all other colors. Triple red is decent but triple purple owns all other towers for cost/damage ratio. Just make sure u r adding the stones of the purple b4 paying 4 the power upgrade to save the most $ as more purple stones = more discount for upgrading when u do triple purple.

This is an awesome game. I was confused at first cause I didn't see all the towers I could choose from. Then when I tapped and saw there was only one type of tower I knew what kind of game this was and got excited. I'm a huge huge fan of TD games and I love the ones that have lots of stats and bonuses for you to base your strategy on. Currently I have an Orange/Purple Tower that gets a Money Bonus when killing and a Purple/Purple that gets a discount when leveling up! There is just so much depth!

This is what itouch games should be about. For those of you who die quickly: place towers strategically so that they do damage at every corner. Don't build more than 5 towers so you can upgrade quickly and that should do. It got me to the fifth level this way so far.

as with Battlefield there is little information concerning when the next map will be unlocked. This is easily corrected by an additional help page that details the criteria for unlocking the maps (wave number, score, etc.). Still, an excellent tower defense game with great replayability!

Good graphics and fun for a bit, but the replay value is low and the levels tend to feel eerily similar to one another. Always the same strategy. But, it's 99 cents. Deleted after 2 days.
