It is derived from the Dept of Transportation Emergency Response Guidebook and helps a responder quickly identify the specific or generic classification of the material(s) involved in the incident, and protect themselves and the general public during this initial response phase of the incident.

You may browse or search material names, and material IDs. You may browse and display individual guides.

Guidebook

Good App, now I won't have to spend time searching for a guide book in my ambulance. This is also much easier to use. It would be much better if the plackard and container diagrams were added though.
Good but not great alternative to the hard copy

To be useful in the field this app also needs to have the evacuation distances from the green pages listed. Placard and container graphics would also be a welcome addition. Otherwise this is a lot easier to use than fumbling through the guidebook.
Needs green (isolation) section

The app. Is basic and coversa lot of the ERG, but you cannot say it does the job if it's not the entire ERG. Should have the contact phone numbers and all. If only one thing were to be added...add the isolation section which has lots of important information.

Product works well But would like to be able to enter the 4 digit placard code direct for info instead of scrolling down. This would speed up to ID materials in an emergency.

Wish you could search partial names and get a list. For instance. When I type in propane. Nothing pops up. Isolation and firefighting meausures would also be helpful. Along with emergency response phone numbers.
