There are a few "free" pedometer applications available. This is the only one I found that is user friendly and doesn't charge to log your progress. Sensitive to stepping motion, couldn't be better!
Accurate but a battery killer

This app is accurate and keeps a history of your steps which is fine. Not being able to run in the background is a big drain on the battery. It is easy to leave the app on and kill your battery life.

Very nice, easy to use, easily put together app. I was starting an training program for myself to at least run one thousand steps a day. With this app, that goal is very easy to accomplish, thanks to the nice user interface. Thanks Wrigley, for making this app. Great training program!
Accurate, but won't background
