Inaccurate

This is my second attempt at reviewing this app so hopefully this one will post. I like the concept of this app but it's lacking in execution. The 20/20 E is not a 20ft letter, it should be ~8.8 mm not 25 mm. The pupil measurement is off as well ( measure any of the circles with a ruler), and it would be more useful if it had semi-circles along the side of the screen. That Amsler grid is way too small to be useful and why not make the grid encompass the entire screen. And Jaeger is a poor choice for measuring near vision; M notation is much better given that it's based on minimum angle of resolution. I wouldn't trust this as a reliable color vision test either. I really hope the developer fixed these issues with his next release.
It's a eYeTest on your iPhone !

The color test is quite helpful, but the other tools range from gimmicky (the iPhone as a flashlight for testing pupillary response? It's not direct enough) to inaccurate (the pupil sizes are all off by 1 to 1.5 mm, the Amsler is not the right size to provide macular coverage, etc.).
Good app

A fun app to use. I'm just not sure how useful it is in real life.

Well I guess I'm color blind! This is a great app! The color blind test works, it's nice having a test on the go.
Wonderful app!

This one is just brilliant and deserves a lot more publicity. At the time I wrote this, it was grossly under-rated for silly reasons.
Good App

Very nice app and easy to use. The color tests are very handy to do on the go like at a free screening. Cant wait to see the new features in the update.
Eh.....it's okay

Is anyone else a little bothered by the typo in the description?
Good start

Good first attempt. It might be more helpful to have a standard Snellen chart. When you're trying to have someone read the near field acuity chart, it is difficult to differentiate between lines if they're not reading 100% (how about the color bar separators or at least some acuity markers on the right side?)
Bad

Worst program I've used. I am an optometrist and not one part is useful to professionals or to the general public. I can't believe I paid $4.99 for this. And yes, I'm creeped out by the photo popping up every time I run a part of the program.
Okay but not spectacular

Would be useful to be able to navigate back to menu. Would be better to use a Rosenbaum chart for near vision.
Good app but could be great

I've had app for months now without any updates!! 1st, there are too many color plates... 10 would be fine and they should be swipable. The "Next" button is too close to the "i" button. Making them swipable would eliminate this problem and shortening the number of plates would alow you to use the most useful plates easier as the ones that differentiate between Protan and Deutan defects are near the end of the queue! Lastly, the amsler grid needs to be larger and the grid pattern not so small. Currently, it only picks up field anomalies at edge of FAZ at normal 16 in viewing distance. PLEASE update and make this a GREAT app instead of just good.
