App is so-so, navigation is kinda slow. If you want something fast and simple, try the new Moviefone app. If h want something fancy, try Flixster. Personally, Moviefone is my favorite.

I was hoping this would link to my fandango online account- without this, the app isn't very useful. I will continue to use the mobile website until this is resolved.

I mean the only important part of fandango is buying tickets, and although this app allows you to do that, it doesn't allow you to sign in to your fandango account. Instead it stores your credit card info in the phone and gives a warning that anybody could use you card if they get your phone. So how about you guys fix it so we just log into our account, and you need a password to make a purchase

I should be able to log in to my existing Fandango account. It's also a bit off that your credit card info is stored in plain site on the phone. Not very safe/secure. Overall, the Fandango iPhone site is more usable and safer...

The app has not crashed on my iPhone at all. How is flixster better than this app? When flixster still takes you out of the app to safari to purchase tix. I can purchase tix thru this app, without leaving it. Othe features are the same as flixter. Got trailers you can watch, fan rating system is visible, so you know what people think of it. It's fandango, so it's more widely supported than flixster when it comes to purchasing tix. Allows you to search for the closest theaters, and set up you favorite theaters list or search by movie. What more do you need? What's wrong? Well, there is the credit card issue. I am not storing it on my phone. You can manually input it each time you purchase tix though. Which is ok......FOR NOW. Really should be linked to users online account. So there is no cc storage hassle, just log in to purchase tix would me nice. Listing of theaters, need the ability to adjust the radius of your search for theaters. For example, the zip code 32092 only brings up 2 theaters. Close by, however, I know there are more a tad bit further away, but I do not know the zip for that area. Need a search radius. That's all I can think of that I noticed so far. Solid app so far. Flixster whinos need not apply.

Those reviews must have been written by friends of Fandango, or employees. Been out one day and it's getting five stars. All based on one transaction each? Hmm....

You guys should try the Movies App by Flixster. Its way better than fandango and lets you check out movie sites like flixster. Its easier to use too. Its way better than a bitten off letter F.

I just bought tix to Watchmen (finally!) via the app and I'm pretty psyched. It was super easy to find showtimes and I love the trailer player. I like that you can save your credit card to make buying tickets even faster. Especially since I'm usually trying to get my tickets last minute while driving to the theater! I know ... I'm bad. hehe

This app really doesn't necessarily deserve one star, but flixster is worlds better

Overall this application isn't bad. I mean, you can search for movies using location services and buy tickets directly from your phone. It does what it's advertised to do. With that being said there are a couple of things I feel are missing. First, this application needs a search bar (it just does). Second, it needs to have the ability to link an existing Fandango account. It just doesn't make any since for Fandango not to include a feature like that, but whatever. It is what it is for now.

Finally! Glad Fandango got their app right. I just used it this weekend to get tix. The line was pretty long, so I just whipped out the iPhone and hopped over to the kiosk to pick em up. Sweeeet! Also great for checking out trailers while we killed time in line.

I've had many movie/theatre apps... and for some reason, I trust this app a lot more than the others (it's called BRANDING... guilty). If only this app wouldn't CRASH so much. Sadness.

Simple yet amazing. It has a great interface and works better than other apps like this. This is a must get for all moviegoers!

I love that I can buy tickets on my ipod touch and not worry about staying in line . This is a great app. It even gives this little theaters info too that doesn't show the big budget movies . I love this app .

What more do you need? This is the perfect movie finder app! Sure it COULD use a search bar but it already shows what movies are playing anywhere near you so it's not really necessary. The best movie finder app I have seen thus far and I have tried a few

Works as advertised but with one glaring oversight - it doesn't sync with online accounts held at Fandango, nor does it allow you to enter theater reward program info directly - so purchases made with the app fail to gain points on Fandango.com or with theaters directly.

Easy to use, fast, intuitive. Wanna see a movie? It finds the closest cinema, the time the movie is played, u can watch the trailer and buy the ticket. What else?

I was going to the movies last weekend and my friend asked me to pull out the iPhone to check listings. I was hesitant to use Fandango for iPhone but I downloaded it, found my theater, checked listings, picked a movie, viewed the trailer, and bough the tickets, all in about 5 minutes. Went to the theater a few hours later, swipped my card, and presto, two tickets to a really creepy movie. Couldn't have been easier.

This is a good start. I would like to see a "log in to my account" button so that I can access already typed in credit cards and reward cards. Keep up the great work!

Works the same as movies. Idk why y'all are complaining. It's work just fine. Brings up every movie theatre you know of. Maybe y'all just don't know how to work it. You ever thought of that??

Stupid app keeps crashing. Restarted phone 3 times and app won't load. Gets to the movie theater lookup, waits about 5 seconds then closes the app. Worked fine before but now it won't work at all.

I really like how easy it is to find showtimes on here. you don't even have to type in your zipcode. I also love the option to watch trailers while browsing around. it even brings you back to the app when you're done with the trailer. that's quite awesome. this is worth downloading even if you're not going to buy on fandango. you can also use it just dr showtimes and trailers. what I would like to see is the ability to log into my account because it can be quite cumbersome to type all that in while on the go. otherwise, great work guys!

Very helpful and easy to use. I was on my way to a theater and my girlfriend bought tickets in the car on the way. Saved a bunch of time. All you other people need to relax and appreciate what fandego is doing to help us out.

No search function, few theaters, no account connection, and few upcomming movies. Flixter is way better. Stay away from this app!

Got on the Social bandwagon...meh. But Poster Walls rock and all the filters are slick. I can find good movies and not just buy them with Fandango now.

I don't see why this is rated lower. It does everything Flixter does, and more! It even works alongside the Yelp app!
