ZipList's Android App Enables Community Grocery Shopping - Fixed Mobile Convergence

A new free Android (News - Alert) app was released by the online shopping list and recipe search service company, ZipList. The new app enables users to create and share grocery lists, as well as search recipes using their mobile devices while on-the-go. In addition to creating grocery lists, users can use the app to automatically categorize items, sort lists by aisle or store, and update lists on the web or by text message, e-mail or instant message. Users cannot only search the huge database of recipes, but also share grocery ingredients using a single click online shopping list tool and save the browsed recipes in one universal recipe box. In a press release, Geoff Allen, founder and CEO of ZipList, said, “A shopping list app is one of the easiest ways to manage your grocery shopping, saving time in-store and reducing impulse purchases. The ZipList app enables users to sync and share lists that are created both on the web and on other mobile devices.
