I never thought things could be made this simple. Wish I could throw away the volume button on my iPhone since I don't need anymore with FluxTunes. Tapping and sliding is all I need to do to control music on my iPhone.

First let me say that this app is awesome and I love using it at the gym and while I am driving. A few things that are slightly annoying, though, and I wish could be modified:

I have a itouch dock in my car and it has been hard to change songs. This app makes my drive easier and safer. I look forward to what they will add to enhance it this app.

This app is what I was waiting for but I would like to be able to switch song when your phone is off .I don't like to have it on when I'm on the gym because the battery dies quickly.

- Four finger tap is not working out, need something a little easier. - Icon could be better :) I guess the ability to rate songs is out of the question

I just bought this for running. I have a running playlist, but there is no way to select it. Using a 2 finger swipe down I can *add* those songs but not play only those songs and the previous/next playlist is not useful at all to navigate to a specific playlist.

I always hoped there would be an easier way to control the music. This is great! I only wish it would flip into landscape mode.

I bought this app thinking I could change songs without unlocking my iPod. I keep my iPod on battery saver while listening to my music. Since I have to unlock my iPod to be able to use this app it's faster to just double click home button and hit the next button while not unlocking th screen. Make it able so you have these controls on the screen where you unlock the iPod and this will be the best application I've ever downloaded. L

Simple to use, and works as advertised. This might just save my butt some day: I'm constantly using my iPhone on the bike or in the car. Kudos. Only issue is that my phone still auto-locks while using the apps. Developer has promised a fix.

I bought this app the second I saw it - I had dreamed of controlling music playback with gestures since the first day I had my iPod touch…and this app did not disappoint. Its attractive playback interface, icons, and clear directions make FluxTunes a standout against other gesture apps like it. Highly reccommended!

This is one of my most used apps on the phone. It has completely replaced Apple's iPod app when I'm in the car. Next update should fix all the problems I had with it. Hopefully they ditch the fugly app icon and get something a little sleeker! Until the next update, 4 stars.

I listen to my music in the car a lot and I hate to say it but the Ipod touch/Iphone Now Playing screen is poorly designed. Its hard to skip, pause and play (not to mention the Artist/Track/Album readout is terribly small). This dollar app fixes it all. Its a little buggy but it only launced a few weeks before writing this review. Read: before the 3.1.1 update.

This app is what the iPhone is all about... Makes perfect use of the iPhone's magic - using the screen to better your life. Great control of your music. Makes driving safer, makes my music listening funner and easier! Congrats to the developers... You hit the ball out of the park on this one.

I never write reviews for apps, unless they are fantasic. This one falls into just that category. I wish Apple would have imbedded music controls like this into the iPhone lock screen. It would beat the heck out of those trash little iPod control buttons that are native to the lock screen. Great app- I highly recommend.

Now I can ACTUALLY touch my music, instead of being limited to cover flow in the iPod app of my iPhone. I love this app. I wish there was a gesture for fastforwarding a song or shuttling a song; and the playhead would appear and disappear like the controls currently appear and disappear.

This is the native interface the iTouch should have.

Missing a way to fast forward and rewind within a track. Once that's added, this app is golden. Still a good first effort to make the touch interface more car friendly. Hope next update sees a ff and rew for my longer music tracks!

Until the FIX comes out... I still say it's dumb. The fix doesn't exist yet. When it does then it will make this app useful... Until then as I said... Save your buck ----- previous review ----- Doesn't have a "stay on" feature meaning you still have to press the home button, still have to swipe to unlock. If you can handle that while driving you can also easily handle pressing the standard next/previous buttons of the standard player. Save your buck

This app is the missing link for people who use their iPhone/iPod touch in their vehical. Works super fast (including launch time). Font is easily readable from a driving to dashboard distance. And navigation between songs is easy and fast  Five stars for a great app  My only suggestion would be to make 'single finger double tap' an alternate option for switching between playlists since swiping two fingers in those directions can be akward depending on ur position.

Great app. Wellworth a buck

Excellent app, the biggest thing for me was that the music continued to play after the app was closed. Very convenient for people like me who use ifitness or anything else on the iPhone while working out. Otherwise, very well constructed, works great, and very stable.

While it is a good idea, there are some things this app needs. First of all, some of the gestures don't always work (4 finger tap, tap and hold) and changing the playlist doesn't always change the playlist. Added features that would be nice would be nicer animations, so when you flip through songs it shows flipping through album covers, and a better song management option, perhaps (though I don't know if this is possible) an option to have a most played and most recently played playlist automatically generated by the app. There should also be a better way to select a playlist. If you have several, flipping through with gestures doesn't work too well.

I really like this app. It's easy to use and quick to learn. The only problem is the four finger tap to lock. I can't get it to work. I think the description said something about this but I can't remember. Great job!

Overall this app does an awesome job of giving you quick, easy music controls. Devs - PLEASE add the ability to rate songs from the app. That would make it 5/5 for me.

To be much better it should have a clear function to remove all songs so that the add makes sense. Also the song list lacks the alphabet navigation that you see in the iTunes music app. It also does not change songs when you change the playlist, you have to manually advance the song. Lock doesn't always work as others have mentioned either. I also don't see any list of the songs. I don't see a use in an add song type of functionality without a list and edit & remove feature to go with it. It is a good thought but needs improvement. It should suffice in changing songs, but the rest is not very useful.

Very slow to load now!!! It looks like they are loading your entire library now upon startup. This is good when you access your entire playlist, but makes startup about 10 seconds for large libraries. The old way started up quick, but took a while IFFF you loaded your entire library, which I rarely did. This was a step in the wrong direction for sure, but I assume it wad to accomidate those who felt it unresponsive after it was launched. It should just start like it used to and load the rest in the background. I know pcalc does something like this to speed the launch process. Bad update guys. It works good on my friends phone since he only has 300 songs. But just a dog for mine with 3,000 songs. Very frustrating!!! 10 full seconds on a 3GS! Can't image what it's like on a 3G. Ps I used to love this app! But really, have you guys not thought this out? People are thinking the app doesn't work cause it's taking so long. I just got Opus and it is much better than fluxtunes...at least for now.
