I understand the tradeoff between free games and viewing ads. But I totally didn't appreciate the ad for "Hot Babe Videos to Ur Phone" - especially since I downloaded this app for my 8-year-old son to play. Unlike Poker or Blackjack, Hangman is a kids game, and I think it's reasonable to assume the ads will be filtered for that. I have removed this game from my phone and will not be buying the ad-free version either.

While the game is quite fun and the interface is good, you completely ruined the app by inserting the horrible ads. I would rather pay $0.99 and have no ads than the app be free and have these ads pop up. These ads just turn me off from using the game. As soon as I saw the ads, I immediately deleted the app and installed the other free hangman game - with no ads! If you want more people to download the app, remove the ads!

I already had a free hangman app but it's too plain. The adds don't bother me. Many of the free apps are now adding the adds. Why do people feel that they have to review an app given it low marks because it has adds! You should read the review before downloading. This game is also available for $.99 without adds. Shameless? Why? Do you review every free app that has recently added adds? If so, you must be really busy because it becoming the norm.

This version is better than the other free version of Hangman. It has considerably more options (different word categories, word definitions, two player mode), as well as better artwork. The ads aren't THAT intrusive, so it's definitely worth a free download.

The graphic is the best of the hangman offerings, and when it is set to standard words the game is great. The fact that you can switch categories is awesome, but some of the movies and celebrities were quite obscure if not unheard of.... and I'm pretty versed on that stuff.

People seem more interested in complaining about racism than actually reviewing the game. Get a life that doesn't involve complaining. Anyway, the game is good, it does what it's supposed to. It has several different catagories to choose from, and it also gives you the dictionary.com defanition for each word if you want it. My only complaint is that it's HARD, alittle too hard.

The game is fun and I don't mind ads in a free game. But I STRONGLY object to ads that trap you into a $9.99/month subscription like this one did. My daughter clicked on the IQ test ad and it appeared free but it is liked to a monthly subscription that was not readily obvious. For shame! I cancelled the subscription since it was unwanted, removed the game immediately to prevent a recurrance and called AT&T to complain. This went beyond an ad. I will never view or download a game from these folks again.
