I don't know where people are getting that they need wifi for this app to work, I get it just with the 3G network. Yeah some synonyms that it comes up with are a little odd but it gives enough of them for u to pick one that is indeed useful. Not bad considering it's free.

The results that you get are not as accurate as what you find on a thesaurua website. I'd rather fire up safari and go to it rather than using this. I think that an update to its inventory of entries could considerably improve this app.

Ugh I downloaded this app, wanting a good thesaurus for free, but it won't work! I have perfectly good wifi service yet it says that it cannot connect with the server where as the rest of my apps can. I recommend sticking to the regular website or buying a better thesaurus app.

No really, it's stupid as in unintelligent, I'm a better theasaurus than this app. I consistantly think of synonyms that the app fails to find. Many times it pops up words that are antonyms as synonyms, or words that just plain have nothing to do with the searched word. It has a good choice of words and stuff it helps me with alot of papers but I believe a "back" button would be the most helpful thing along with a definition so like it would be two in one. I bet people would much more go for that then buy two seprate apps and take up more space on his/hers touch/iPhone.

I find this app really helpful for writing papers and it always comes up with tons of great options. A back button would be nice, and if possible, no wi-fi connection to operate. Other than that, GREAT app!

You don't need wifi if you have an iPhone. Only if your trying to run it on a touch do you have to be connected somehow. As for the app itself, I think it's great and simple. Get it if ya need it.

It would be better if it had a dictionary with it too look up the synonms and antonms that you find, plus it shouldn't have to be connected to wi-fi. Once it connects once it should remember the system of words. Please update!!!!!!

Don't download this piece of crap. Everytime I press "search" after I already put in my desired word, this dumb app freezes on me.. then after a period of time it will say unable to retrieve definition. Yes, I've already tried plenty of words and it still has the same outcome. Rebooting my iPhone did not fix this problem.

I never use this app unless I am at home because it needs WiFi to work. It should be more like Dictionare where the whole database of words is already loaded onto your ipod. This disappoints me.

I really hate to say this, but this application is an unfortunate disappointment. I am generally very lenient with reviews, especially free ones!- so I gruntingly give it bad marks. First of all, if one must have Internet access to use it (correct?) you would be infinitely better off just searching the web for your inquiry. The design is awkward and not very accurate or informative. I could go on and on, but, yeah. I give it one extra star because it's free.
