This game is a classic. The tutorial on how to move your frog is found under "Help". You can move your frog by taping in the direction that you want him to go [e.g. tapping on his right side will move him to the right]. You can move your frog by sliding your finger in the direction you want him to move or my least favorite is by tilting the iPhone in the direction you want him to go. The only problem I have with the game is that there are very noticeable skips in the game when the game switches speeds. It was annoying at first but you get used to it but it still should be a little more smoother than looking like the game is glitching during play. That said, I've bought ALL the classic arcade games. The $9.99 price is well worth it. They all play almost exactly as the originals and it's good to have them in the palm of my hand.

It frustrates me personally to see so many bad reviews - especially for people who haven't bought the game that are against the $9.99 price. $10 for an app is well worth it. It takes a lot of time to develop a great app. Regardless. The quality of the application was good. No bugs, good graphics. The game played well and it was just was fun as I had hoped. It's like every other frogger. The only complaint that I have is that fact that it's a LITTLE bit difficult to get used to the adjustments, but they DO have over 3 different ways you can move the frog. Overall great application.

Just give me a joystick option. Pacman has it! The tilt control is annoying and doesn't work well, and the touch control forces you to cover the screen with your finger in order to move. Until it's updated, it's NOT even FUN TO PLAY! Don't waste your money. Even at 5.99 it's still not worth it. After one or two games, you'll never use it again (until they give you better control features).

I love Frogger and have no problem with the price. Come on people. However the controls need serious improvement. The slide is the best but not responsive enough. Further the wrong slip and the menu pops up making it VERY EASY TO HIT THE EXIT BUTTON and completely LOSE YOUR GAME. I can't tell you how infuriating that is. Also the app has crashed on me. So why 3 stars?Because it's Frogger on your iPhone! Konami please reward your loyal customers by upgrading this app!

This game is a visually improved version of the back in the days 80's arcade hit frogger. The gameplay is about the same as the original game, however, does impose difficulties by using the touch interface. As there are multiple ways to control your frog, only one really turned out to be useful. I found the swiping control type the usable method. In my opinion, the tapping or tilting mode are completely worthless as they are too slow and make it hard to make sudden changes in direction.

This is actually still a good game lol. The graphics are good. The gameplay and controls work fine. I know why everyone is giving this game low reviews...because they're upset about the price. It is slightly overpriced considering the game has been around since the 80s and this new iphone version really isnt any different from the 80s version. But its still a classic fun game that I remember from my childhood. Even with the steep price, I still find it to be one of the most enjoyable games to play on my iphone

Developers, The game is not bad, but the retro arcade craze is quickly passing you by. Almost every other classic arcade game offers either a retro look option (if not standard) but almost ALL have the correct retro music. They all also have 4-5 stars and more popularity and download. I don't mind the upgraded graphics. Gameplay is great. Head my advice, if you UPDATE retro music you will see a HUGE surge in sales, afterall isn't that what it's all about? The theme song is just as famous as the game. Without that familiar jingle half the experience and worth of playing a fond. childhood staple is obliterated! I expected maybe an updated remix, but whatever this app currently has is terrible, and bears no resemblance whatsoever. I would imagine the small cost and effort would be worth the financial benefit. Please consider it for the fans of yourself either way. Thank you. I will change to 5 stars if retro music theme is added!
