When I bought 1.0 I knew it would get me by in a pinch to make small updates on our web sites. I also knew there was huge room for improvement and they just filled that room. Great job guys. Keep the improvements coming. My only feedback is that it's a little confusing when I edit pages with the same name saved on the iPhone even though they are in different hosting accounts. I also thought that if I clicked a file, then clicked web view that it would show me that file in the browser. That would be cool to check on any updates made. Maybe even a preview option before making it live.

I took a 3 hour outage on my website because this app corrupted several of my xml config files. It added garbage characters at the beginning of the file, and chopped off several characters on the end (which will obviously cause any XML parser to spew). It also changed the case of the file name (luckily I'm on a windows server, so this didnt matter). If you're going to use it, dont make the mistake I did: test it before touching production files! And, make sure you have a computer accessible so that you can correct the problems that this app causes.

I was very glad to see this one -- it's something I could really use! I didn't mind paying the $10 for it. As a software engineer myself, I'm sure somebody has sweated many hours to make it work. But try as I may, I have been unable to get it to ftp to my website. I can ftp to my site from the OS X command line just fine, but this thing just ain't cutting the mustard. So I went to their website and posted a note to them. By the way, guys, when you have a form on a site where someone enters a comment, you really need to give them a response page that says "We got your comment, thanks, we'll contact you." instead of being just directed back to the main page. I sent that six hours ago, and never got even an automated response, much less a human response.

I'm a photographer who bought FTP on the Go several months ago to upload photos to an FTP server. The first version of the software was a good first try, but the latest version is the real breakthrough. Now you can move full-sized images to the iPhone and then FTP them via public wi-fi hotspot or the iPhone's 2G/3G. Just what I needed. Now all the software developer needs to do is "pair" the iPhone with a wi-fi enabled camera so the photos are automatically uploaded to the FTP server as they are taken. If they do that, the app would be perfect.

If I had realized all this application could do, I could have avoided buying several other applications: 1) Organize text files, images, movies, PDFs, and more into local folders. 2) view movies, images, pdf 3) edit text files 4) upload anything to anywhere through FTP 5) password protect the whole application 6) resize images 7) share files through FTP and web server, both built in 8) view pages through a built in web browser 9) Dowload any file that has a direct link on the web And more! This is more than an FTP program; this is like a mini-operating system.
