Awesome! Boost isn't working on my car for some reason. But one of the best quality apps available. Great detail, great interface and not too cluttered. I would love to be able to skin this as well, custom gauge colours etc. For anyone with "pairing" issues, you need to decline the pairing request the phone sends you.

Free and it works!! I purchased the ecoRoute HD sensor for my nuvi, after seeing it reviewed on Fifth Gear (Channel 5, UK), last year. Took me a while to locate the OBDII port on my Astra and the cable could do with being shortened or perhaps they could use a ribbon cable. For a free App, I'd say this is better than the software that comes on my nuvi. Love the 0-60 speed and torque test.

Just won't work with my 2008 Kia Rio I have the MTS Hero HTC and the Ecouroute HD (which I use with a 1490LMT Garmin). I've tried every which way and it will not connect, from dropping the gps to factory resetting the Ecoroute with no luck. No cost to me but it's frustrating not being able to find any comprehensive support info on this app.

Works well on Ford Mondeo and Samsung galaxy tab. Would be nice if fuel economy was liters per 100 km as an option.

Very cool app. One issue... It's like a video game for your commute. Set a time and try to beat it the next day. (I drive an hour to work...it's boring.) The only issue is if you're tracking a route and you receive a phone call it dumps the route.

Extremely easy to use. Plugged in ecoroute hd, downloaded app,started car, launched app and hit connect. Seconds later it was connected.

Got the cable and works fine. My check engine light is on but software doesn't report the error. Working with Garmin to determine issue. Update: 01/05/2012 - I was able to see the OBD code and clear the check engine light right away with the new version.

Works great on my 2003 VW Passat. Reads and clears codes. The digital gauges and mileage and trip stats are great. It's well worth the $108 for the adapter from Garmin. I sometimes have trouble connecting with my DROID X but I usually get it to work.

Using this on a Toshiba Thrive 10.1 tablet. Decent app with a few really useless gauges. I bought the Bluetooth adapter and downloaded this app because Garmin's web site clearly states that with the Android app you get access to OIL PRESSURE and OIL TEMPERATURE gauges. That is incorrect since those gauges do not exist on the Android app. Will return my $100 Bluetooth adapter now. Also the bluetooth connection to the tablet is clunky. Required five trials before it connected. Dropped several times and had to reconnect.

I really like this app. The ecoroute plays nice with my rezound and it provides exactly the functionality I was looking for. However, I forgot to properly exit the app one day, exited the car, the phone in pocket, and went inside for a nap. Battery went from full to 20% just like that in roughly 4 hours. Normally, 4 hours of idle drain is maybe 10-15%, NOT nearly 80%. Some better power management is sorely needed.

From the EXTREMELY limited docs & FAQ, this product along with the hardware device, can damage many cars! (yikes!)

This works well with my 2011 Honda Jazz/Fit. Really nice layout and dials look brilliant on my Samsung Galaxy S 2. Please, please add oil pressure and oil temperature gauges. These would be the icing on a very nicely made cake. Well done Garmin.

So far it refuses to connect to my device. My device is on has a steady blue light, but my phone will.not connect to it.

Need a UK friendly Celsius and MPH option please. Be better with an option to auto and off Bluetooth.

Page 6 in the manual: Turn off the car, then turn back on again after first pairing (LED = Blue) to save the setup info. Otherwise you end up pairing each time you use it. Would be nice if it could pair with this app AND the actual GPS unit, because this app does way more than the GPS.

... Works well but needs options to just log instead if constantly downloading maps as this drains the battery more than other apps. Like that it syncs my history. Perfect to log runs etc when i don't have my garmin watch with me.

Very good although i use it at the moment without the Ecoroute HD. I would give it 5 stars if it kept logging data while in the background. Every time i receive a call the counter resets.

I've been using the EcoRoute HD module on my Nuvi 1490T for about 6 months now, and I've loved it (apart from the issue with it not connecting, traced to an issue with the mlg_history.db file, google is your friend). I don't see the ability to "calibrate" the mileage as you can on the Nuvi (the "at the pump" command) which is a bummer because it doesn't seem to be reading my fuel rate properly (98 diesel Jetta, may not be fully supported). If it allowed for proper calibration, it would be an easy 5 star.

I've purchased several Garmin devices and must admit that I'm a bit of a Garmin snob but this is the first time that I've been disappointed with Garmin. I've tried repeatedly to pair my phone with a new Garmin Ecoroute HD device that I've installed in a 2006 Mercury Mariner Hybrid, without success. I've tried everything that the service desk suggest and am now about to uninstall the software unless they have another suggestion. I'd hoped to try the Ecoroute functionality out, before I purchased a Nuvi but now I'm worried that it won't work and I'm gworing tired of wasting so much time on something that is supposed to be so easy. UPDATE The software didn't work on my son's phone, a Motorola Droid X, so, we went out and bought a Garmin Nuvi 1490LMT and that recognized the device. I don't think though that we're going to keep the Ecoroute HD device, nor the new Nuvi 1490LMT because we're just not that impressed with the features and don't see how they'll help us save enough gas to cover the $260 it took us to get there. Sorry Garmin...

Simply refuses to pair to my Ecoroute device, which otherwise works just fine with two different Garmin GPS units

Does not work with generic elm adaptors and i wont pay 100$ for an adapter that works on only one app that does not give 10% of what torque does.... I paid 40$ for a generic adaptor that works fine so please make this app work on it and i'l rate better...

Same as Simon - does not work with generic elm adaptors. Torque does. I'll rate more when this does as well.

I never could pass the warning page. I am uninstalling.

I bought the HD device, quickly installed it, and paired it to both my new GPS (Nuvi) and my Android phone. That didn't work. Seems that the HD can communicate to either, but not both. Since moving from the GPS screen of ecoRoute data and directions is not easy, I choose pairing to my smartphone. But I have the smartphone paired to the GPS to use its speakerphone capability. I'm not sure that my new Razr can pair and be connected to the GPS and to the HD at the same time. Garmin doesn't think so. I've emailed Motorola. It works sometimes, but drops the pairing more often than not. (It also seems that the HD went up recently 50% in price.)

At least 5" screen is needed, problem with bltooh hands free systems if one uses smart phones
