Well Apps is Well Done
FoOMJ 5.0 stars Version: 1
App is very clean looking and easy to use. I've been entering info for a few days now and only wish I had something like this years ago when my GI issues first started. Bravo!
Great Idea
Jason V6488 5.0 stars Version: 1
Great application and easy to use design. The best part is my phone goes everywhere with me so I can record the data accurately and have it in one spot. I can see this app being used for other medical reasons as well.
Great App
GotCrohns 5.0 stars Version: 1
My doc always asks me about my symptoms. Glad to have an easy way to track and report them. Really great application. Also love tracking what meds/dosages I'm on. Nicely done.
Great product!
mrlnyc 5.0 stars Version: 1
Finally something to keep me organized, easy to use, no thought or effort. My doctor found it really useful to help in decisions regarding adjusting my medicines.

Good but needs improvements

I'm so happy this application was created. I've had UC for about 8 years and wanted something like this since I tried carrying around a notebook to log my UC and it never worked. This app still needs some tweaks for the modern day IBD patient such as: 1. In the medication section allow a user to put in decimal points. For example my Lialda is 1.2g per day. Or provide enough space to put in 1000mg since that equals 1g. 2. Allow user to add to how the medication is taken. Most people with IBD use enemas. That should be added. Some take packets of a probiotic called VSL3 so that should be added too. 3. Allow user to delete medication names from the list rather than just add. Same thing for the logging of stools, pain, etc -- permit the user to delete if they mess up. 4. Team up with the epocrates app so that users can check drug interactions and read about the drugs they are using. 5. Add alternative medications to the list -- something like 50 percent of people with IBD use alternative medicines like probiotics -- i know i do. 6. Have a community section so that people can discuss certain medications, procedures, alternative remedies etc. It's always great for other patients to see what others are doing. With these additions this application would be lifechanging. Thank you. Please make these changes.
Excellent Resource for Patients and Doctors
DrSteveWeinland 5.0 stars Version: 1
This app is remarkably clean and does what it advertises. As somebody who works in GI, I believe that this app will help patients communicate with clinicians more quickly and succinctly about current symptom experience. Nicely made app!
Needs more options

While I'm glad someone created an application for monitoring IBD, this application is too expensive for what it offers.
Well done!

I am newly diagnosed with UC and have found this app to be very beneficial! I tried carrying a diary around, but was never able to keep up with it. Not to mention, when Meeting with my GI, there's always something I would forget to mention. This app really helps keep me organized and helps me to feel in control of my disease. I love that you'll be adding a diet tracker, as I haven't quite found all my trigger foods yet. This is a great app for anyone with IBD and I can't wait to share it with my doctor next week at our appointment!
Excellent

I have Crohn's and this has been a great app!
What about privacy?
Cherry152546 4.0 stars Version: 1
Wow! I think this seems like a great app and so convenient to just log everything right into the phone than in a notebook. And it's great that you can log it anywhere vs having to wait to get home. However, it would be great if the app had a pin or a pass code or pass word option so nobody could access the app. This way all the info stored is just between you and your doctor. I look forward to future updates, thank you!
Handy App
Jah Watchman 4.0 stars Version: 1
This app would be more efficient if you were to add TNF meds to the list. As a long time crohn's sufferer and currently on humira since '07, this would be beneficial to my logs. Also, add cimzia, remicade, and tysabri as these are also essential TNF drugs for moderate to severe crohn's patients. Lastly, a diet log and the ability to add decimals between your drug dosage and you have a very good app. Great for back tracking bowel and pain levels as they interact w/ your meds an food intake.
Privacy

I'm a college student with UI. I love the app but I would prefer that my friends don't stumble across my stool logs.
Great app, can't wait for the update!
dorcino 5.0 stars Version: 1
This is a great app that will be useful to many people. My wife has Crohn's and we have been looking for an app to help with symptom tracking and were excited to see this one. In the future we would like to be able to track symptoms more than once a day. We would also like to be able to customize the symptoms that are tracked. For example, location and intensity of pain, nausea, vomiting, bloating, and indigestion. We also look forward to the update which will add a food tracker. Thank you very much for writing this valuable app!
Great app!
Musicgurugirl 5.0 stars Version: 1
Thus is a great app. I am taking this to the doctor to try to figure out what's going on. My only complaint is that you can't delete or edit an entry when you're done. I put in an entry and made a mistake and I can't edit it so it is messing up my stats.
Going to be better
darleneplay76 5.0 stars Version: 1
This app is going to be a lot better after the update. Also for those who don't know (I was one) u can add meds to the med list. Click on the med list and tap the + at the top right and u will see the list they have. Well look at the top right again and u will see the + if u tap on that one it will let u type in the meds u take if they r not listed. I think maybe there should be a pain scale of 1-10. That's how doctors rate ur pain and we r used to rating it in this way also. Maybe add a tab for keeping track of pain meds and the dosage and how many u have taken that day. Like me 1st my doctor always wants to know what I'm taking cause I go to a pain management clinic and 2nd my pain varies everyday and so does my pain pill intake. Would be nice to keep up with that in this app. And I would like to see the bloody stool option in the settings so u can turn it off or on as needed. For peeps like myself whom have never had blood in their stool (I just have every other problem lol). Maybe also add a misc area for other symptoms that u may have like iritis, ulcers, or skin problems (which I often get). And not have to put them in notes where they can get overlooked with other things. Or just add a symptom tab with symptoms listed that u can chose from or can add to it if not listed like with the meds tab. This app is going to be a great app once it is tweeked a few times to get kit right. I do recommend anyone with any type of IBD to get this app. It's very handy and just going to get better 
Good App-needs Updates
Princess Stef 3.0 stars Version: 1
Being recently Dx with Crohn's at the beginning of last year...now the doc thinks it UC, I'm still in the process of getting this all under control. I think this is actually going to be a very helpful App and since I do carry my iPhone EVERYWHERE, I'll have no excuse not to log what is going on. I've had this App only a few days, but I've read other reviews of it and I completely agree that I would give this App 10 Stars if it had a few more things, 1st and most importantly a passcode feature for privacy!! 2nd, options for making a few notes, and different levels other then light, mild, heavy, etc. I'm looking forward to updates very soon!
Thank you!!
Ljriv35 5.0 stars Version: 1
That's all I can say; thank you, thank you, thank you for this great app!!!
GI monitor
Donloggins 1.0 stars Version: 2.0
Version 1 was much better. The collection of medical information and it's storage on a remote server raises HIPPA concerns. Users should have the option to not have their medical data stored remotely. I would not use this app until they comply with HIPPA
Can't even use the app.
Isokat 1.0 stars Version: 2.0
This app was decent before, but I can't even use it now because I can't register.
Crashes
RabMarf 1.0 stars Version: 2.0
Thought v1 was good. App constantly crashes after update.
Excellent
Ljriv35 5.0 stars Version: 2.0
It takes a while for the registration process to allow you to access the app, but once in, it works flawlessly. Great job; thanks again!
GI Monitor
Deecently 1.0 stars Version: 2.0
I really liked the app and looked forward to updates (before I would have rated it at least 4 stars). However, the update to version 2.0 was like 10 steps backward. It won't let you use it unless you will register. Then when I tried to register it did nothing. (I let it try for about 10 minutes thinking maybe it took a long time.) I even turned off the iPod and booted it back on - still nothing. If it would work, some of the updated items sound like they would be an improvement, but without being able to get into the program . . .
V2 buggy
Hockeymeat 1.0 stars Version: 2.0
V2 has many new desireable features. The loss of old data though is inexcusable when upgrading. V2 also has a stability problem. Several of the functions fail outright on my 3GS and render the application worthless. Privacy concern about wellapps now requiring registration and the holding of personal data on their servers vs. My iPhone is disturbing at best. Overall good application idea but total lack of stability and thought process for medical privacy.
Great App
GotCrohns 5.0 stars Version: 2.0
I initially had issues with the update and contacted WellApps on their site. They responded immediately and addressed all of my issues. The app. is now working great and syncing with the site - and I love it.
What happened with this update???
Princess Stef 1.0 stars Version: 2.0
What is wrong with this app?  I downloaded it a week ago and was using it just fine and today I downloaded the update and I registered on your website and when I go to my iphone to log in, it says I successfully log in and then once I click on anything along the bottom, the app immediately cancels and closes.  This has happened 3 times in a row!  I thought this was going to be a great useful app, especially since I was recently Dx with Crohn's, but it's not useful when it closes every time I try to do something!!! PLEASE HELP!
What happened??
ClawZ2300 1.0 stars Version: 2.0
I registered and I haven't heard back; now I can't use it. I'm also not crazy about the medication feature; I should be able to track my own medications, not pre-loaded ones. Without all these setbacks, I would have given it 4 stars.
Gone down
Musicgurugirl 1.0 stars Version: 2.0
I rated this 4 stars before and I'm back to downgrade my rating for the following reasons: 1. Since medical info is so personal, I find it absurd that you have to register. 2. I couldn't register through the app. I filled out all fields and it wouldn't submit. 3. It crashes ALL the time. It crashed 4 times while I was trying to enter in my basic info. 4. It freezes a lot. 5. The meal tracking is a good idea but it isn't very functional the way it is set up on there. 6. You can't enter in your own meds. This app needs some MAJOR tweaking. When it runs smoothly, I'll be back to rate again.
Great app and service!
Rlalex 5.0 stars Version: 2.0
When I updated, I had some problems with the application. Contacted support and they helped me fix my problems. Really great support and follow-up. If you need this app to monitor your GI movements - great app. Thanks guys.
Don't like update
Nelg85 2.0 stars Version: 2.0
I don't like the idea of sharing my medical info with any one besides my Dr in person. I don't even tell my family. Should be able to use without the invasion of privacy. Also, this is the second time I had to remove and reinstall (and lose all my data & start over) since the OS 3.0 update. After the reinstallation everything seems to work fine. But, if I just ate, how do I know how it's digesting? It takes a while to tell. Doesn't it?
Really Appreciate this App
GotCrohns 5.0 stars Version: 2.0.1
This app is incredibly helpful in keeping me aware of my symptoms and sharing them with my doc. Thanks for continuing development of this.
