What does this app feature?

The BBC Good Food Healthy Recipes iPad app has over 150 healthy recipes. Each has a maximum-sized stunning photo of the finished dish, full nutritional information (kcals, protein, ... Read Morecarbs, fat…), and a simple step-by-step method.

All our recipes are triple-tested, to help make sure they work first time for you. Views perfectly in vertical or horizontal - depending on where in your kitchen you can prop your iPad. There's a built-in cooking timer, accessible from every screen of the app.

You'll find healthy twists on classic dishes like Chicken korma and Chocolate, and there are over 35 recipes that contain less than 200 cals per portion.

You can find recipes by course (breakfast, starter, main…), ingredients and by type: all our vegetarian recipes are clearly marked to make choosing easy. Save recipes to your favourites for easy access, and send them to friends, too.

Our videos will help you improve your cooking skills, whether it's learning how to prepare a whole fish, or something simple and effective, like grilling peppers.

We'll also show you how to choose and prepare 10 healthy ingredients to include in your diet - from blueberries to salmon.
