I don't know about other people, but I go crazy when I go to the store and am overwhelmed with claims and flashy marketing - this app is perfect for cutting through all the hype to tell me what is really going on behind the products in stores. The first time I used it to buy deodorant, I found out that the brand I had been buying has terrible environmental impact. While I was shopping, it was super easy to use goodguide on my iphone to find a much better deodorant that was good for the environment. Thanks, GoodGuide!

This app has been indispensable in its very first day of use! I used the app today in the supermarket, to see whether the toothpaste I have been using for years is hazardous to my health.. and it is- yikes!! I was then able to choose the best product for me and my wife, right there in the aisle of the supermarket, and then called her to let her know we changed brands... SO COOL! It's about time that I had a resource through my iphone to be able to find out if the products I'm buying are human-and-earth-friendly, and having this power in my pocket will no doubt change the way I shop! AWESOME APP!

This app completely changed my life! I had been using a shampoo for six years that I discovered was actually pretty toxic, and GoodGuide warned me about that. And I completely cut out using Clorox bleach, which is shockingly still a commonly-used household item. My bathroom and kitchen cabinets have been completely remade from what I've learned from GoodGuide -- it's my trusted source for reliable information before I buy anything in the future. I can't wait for them to start reviewing food! This has helped me and my family so much. I cannot express enough gratitude to the team that built this. You've made me a better person!

Having all that information on my phone makes life a lot easier! Now I don't have to dig around in my purse for a list written on a crumpled piece of paper. I just bought GoodGuide recommended baby shampoo, soap and lotion for my daughter. I'm going to try laundry and dishwashing soaps next. The search was actually really fast and fun to do. I'm going to share this app with all my mom friends.

This is a very easy to use app that is backed by an incredibly extensive database of information about the consumer products we all buy and use every day. The shocking thing is how many of these products are harmful to ourselves and/or the environment, and we would never know it -- except for the GoodGuide. I have been using GoodGuide on the web, but having it on my phone brings an entirely new level of usefulness to the GoodGuide. You can quickly and easily check on whether a product is highly or poorly rated right in the store before you buy (instead of finding out once you get home!). The interface is snappy and efficient. Easy to drill down to the item you are interested in with a minimum of effort. And it's free = no brainer.

Really nice app, let's you quickly get information about the products you buy, what goes into them, how they are made and how good (or bad) they are for you. I've got two small kids and was surprised to learn the J&J baby wash had some questionable ingredients. I couldn't find the top rated products at the RiteAid I was at but I did find the higher rated Aveeno and switched to that. Just a really nicely designed and useful app. Kudos to the GoodGuide team.
