This app is a good use of the data from Waymarking.com. A login on Waymarking.com is NOT required; the app is not designed for Waymarkers, it's designed for non-Waymarkers. But I'll get use out of it even though I'm a waymarker! There are two modes to see nearby Historic Places waymarks: a map and a list. The list appears not to be sorted by proximity, and that's unfortunate. The interface is clean and pretty easy to use. The Navigate To This Location function is nice, though it doesn't offer turn by turn. It does have a map view and a compass view (nice compass face!). Unfortunately there's no way to email an Historic Place to someone else... If you're interested in local history, or even the local history of someplace you're going, check it out!
