I tried a number of other inventory applications but none of them were very "apple-esque". I'm kind of a stickler for the look and feel. This thing might as well have come from Cupertino. Its easy, completely intuitive, and at no time did I need to look at any instructions or manual. It isn't necessarily for business Inventory Applications, but for just about EVERYTHING else (like archiving records of my home and recording studio) this thing just knocks it out of the park. Pictures, prices, Serial Numbers, and pretty much anything else you can dream up are all at your fingertips. Well Done, guys, well done.

I downloaded this program last evening and fine it wonderful for what I need. It is a perfect time for this program to come along as I am redoing my filing system and will have all the info available, being able to add pictures is great. I had a question and got an answer back real fast. Looking forward to getting good use out of it

A friend turned me on to this app. Normally not my style but I have to comment on this one... I'm a musician who rents a rehearsal space that is full of "priceless" artifacts and forever worries about the theft or destruction (earthquake) of my gear. Now I have pics and serials of everything in my phone and somewhere in space being stored just for me! What a great idea and what a slick design!! Kudos to the designers. Nicely done!

I have been waiting for a solid and easy to use home inventory app and this one fits the bill. I downloaded it today and have been playing with it for a good hour now. It is very intuitive and easy to catalog items and add pictures to them. I have tried a couple other inventory apps and this one is by far the best and easiest to use.

I just got this app and so far I love it! Whaddya got? Art collection, stamp collection, paper clip collection.....this app is perfect even if all you want to do is catalog the contents of your house for insurance purposes. This app is the bomb.

This is an exceptional product for the price. Two places (iPhone & web portal) to store your information. Lose your iPhone? No problem, will sync all of your data from the site to your new iPhone. The developer (Robb) is very helpful and quick to reply. I had a few glitches of my own oversight but Robb was terrific to help me. The software is straight forward. Reports are nice looking and I believe my insurance provider will accept. Very nice being able to take pictures that is attached to the item data. Having this product, I actually look forward to getting my inventory done. I'm telling all of my iPhone friends. A must have.

LITE VERSION IS GREAT FOR DEMOING!!! EXACTLY THE SAME WITH QUANTITY LIMITATIONS.

Tried the Lite Version and bought the full version. I have had my supply/tool truck broken into several times. The insuranc claim is such a headache. This app is perfect, makes my claim process much simpler.

Home Inventory is a straight-forward, thoughtfully developed app with a pleasant, functional interface. The reporting function is solid, and produces color PDFs that can be stored or printed. Having pictures accompanying model and serial number data is perfect. There are ample inputs and categories to account for all but the most exotic gear. Couple nits: The app crashes. A lot. If you're typing the info into your iPhone, I recommend saving after every third or fourth entry. Yes, that's a pain, but it's better than losing the last three entries or risking snapping your iPhone in half out of frustration. (2) I could never get the app to sync with the website from my iPhone. I'm not particularly confident my iPhone and the website will ever sync, and hitting "sync now" on the app does nothing, as far as I can tell. I recommend entering the data directly into the website, which is far less onerous than typing all that data on a 2" iPhone keyboard. (3) When you place photos in the website, it will turn them every which way but up, so be prepared for sideways and even upside down photos of your crap. One add'l tip for new users -- make sure you don't enter any personal info like your name, home address, etc., since the website's not loaded with protections and encrypting that I could see.

I've purchased several home inventory apps and this one is by for the best. Excellent customer support.

I've been waiting for an app that does all this and it's finally here - this app delivers just like it says. All the fields you need to enter are there but it's customizable so you can add more if you need. You get the web app too which keeps a back-up copy of all your entered data in case you lose your phone. The summary reports are very nice and you can enter up to 3 pictures for each item you record. Had some synching issues in the beginning but the developer (Robb) was very helpful and responsive and now it works great. Highly recommended for anyone worried about replacing their stuff in case of disaster.

I have used it for moving just added "box 1" etc as a location and finding the really important stuff like the coffee maker, sheets and toiletry items was a snap. Unpacking was easy! Wish list is small: Need ability to edit and/or delete locations and categories not just adding to an existing list. List gets looooong really quickly. Great app! Keep up the good work!

Hi, I love this app. However, I have a problem with having to go to your site to sync my items. I have not read anywhere, nor do you point to a place where it tells how secure you are and your insurance information if you are hacked or you lose my information that was stored. The whole idea is security of my owned items. Not only are my items listed, their location and value are also listed on a 3rd party web site that has the ID and password stored. The sync needs to be on my own computer first. Then if I choose to use your storage for my offsite list I could do so. I do appreciate it being free for 18 months. I don't want my data to be a captive to your company with no option to save my information elsewhere. I want total control of my information. You clearly state I am guarenteed free storage for 18 months. That if the company is not succesful, a charge may apply if you are still in business. You have no guarentee what will happen to my information if you go out of business or decide to charge for storage. The User (me) has no control over my data. I can't save it to my computer or anywhere I choose. I am required, forced, to save it to your server. Before I sync any inventory items I want better clarity about your security and coverage info should you be hacked and my house riddled for my collection of rubber ducks. I want the ability to choose if I want my information on your site. I want the ability to save my info on my own computer in my own files accessable by me anytime I want to do so. I do think your app is teriffic indeed! And, I'll use it once I feel better about my data where I have no control or ability to delete it if I so choose. Respectfully, Eric

Updated review: Enhancement suggestion. 1. Would be nice just to enter bar code and have most info prefilled. 2. Also custom field names with a list of commonly used field names (ones I can customize) to chose from. Love app does exactly what it says it does. So many great things about this app...but I can't get it to sync with the web! I was able to at first, but now no luck. Worried that the 728 items waiting to be synced never will be. I bought this app because I wanted the web backup. Please fix! (Yes, I've had a wifi connection when trying to sync.)

I had originally bashed this app for constantly crashing but I can now report that most of the problems I had have been resolved. I may have rushed to judge this app prematurely and I gave it only 1 star but I would like to change that now. This is the only app you will ever need for inventory and believe me, I have reviewed EVERY SINGLE UTILITY app itunes has to offer. Give this one a shot and you wont be disappointed. Thanks to Robb for consistantly keeping in touch with me. Keep up the good work!

I just PURCHASED and downloaded this app. I can't get it to remain open for more than 30 seconds before it closes. At this point I don't think it's worth the money.
