Great app, but has the older BCP Lectionary, not the RCL approved for readings in 2006. With this change and some of the upgrades other reviews mention it would be wonderful.

Well laid out. It is great to have this as a native app. Perfect for those times when a BCP isn't available or there is no web access. I will enjoy having this on my iPhone. Hopefully text zoom will come soon. Peace

Absolutely love having the 1979 BCP usably formatted for iPhone! Use it devotionally and for worship planning! I wish the font were adjustable. A few spelling/formatting errors, but hardly any and will probably be corrected. Very usable as is. Can't wait to see how it improves over time. Great Job! Thank you!

While this is an excellent version of the BCP, the only way to navigate is page by page or section by section. It would be very difficult to navigate to Psalm 130, for example. Also, there are no bookmarks. Maybe these could be added to make the BCP more useful.

So glad to have found this app. Users who pray the daily office using BCP 79 will find this app very useful. I too look for improvements mentioned by others in future editions.

I was very excited to find the Book of Prayer! Could use a little better navigation...an updated daily office with scripture readings everyday would make this 5 stars! Still a great app!

I agree that the ability to customize a service sheet would make this a spectacular app. I have recommended this app to several friends.

This is a great app! If you update it, can you add a function to generate a service sheet for a particular day?

Wonderful to have this app, but my getting older eyes need the font to be adjustable (to a larger size). Also would be super to be able to navigate a bit better. Had a PDB doc of this (and older 1929 version) on my Palm TX that I loved and was so happy to find this app for my new iPod Touch. Good work and I hope you keep improving it too.

While I am happy with this app there are 2 things which would make it much better. First there needs to be a way to zoom in on a page, and secondly it is very difficult to distinguish between Year 1 and Year 2 readings in the Daily Lectionary since in print they are on oppisite pages and identified at the bottom of the page.

Thanks for this great app. As a priest, I find this to be of great help in both personal devotion and in planning worship. A couple of "wish list" items for future versions: 1. RCL instead of the BCP Lectionary 2. Hyperlinked Scripture Passages 3. The ability to change text and background color (by type of text would be even better - as in the ability to change the Rubric color, etc) 4. Zoom in capability 5. The addition of the Book of Occasional Services and Lesser Feasts and Fasts as modules would be brilliant! All this said, I highly recommend this App and will look forward to even more good things to come!!

I am on the road all the time and have found this to be a valuable app. My BCP is a heavy addition to my luggage, so, unless I am going to be in the altar party during my travels, I just use iBCP. I am prayerful you will consider creating the BOC and Lesser Fasts & Feasts in the near future... Lighten my luggage a bit more :)

I forgot my prayerbook on a recent trip and was pleased to find this app. The Book of Common Prayer, besides being useful for services, helps me pray when I have trouble finding the words. Would like to see a 1928 Book of Common Prayer, the one I grew up with. Thanks for the hard work.

Everyone else has beat me to the recommendations for enhancement of this wonderful application. So I will simply say thank-you for this undertaking. Although it lacks some "nice to have" things, I think it is awesome, as well as a comfort to know I have the BCP in my pocket! I am familiar enough with the BCP that I can find, fairly quickly, all of the scripture, prayers, collects, and psalms that I use in my daily devotionals, as well as organized worship.

Just when i thought i had the smallest BCP. This us awesome! i just need to find an app to make incense come out of my iPhone....

I am so grateful to have this source of inspiration with me and accessible at all times. The Collects alone are worth the purchase price. This App has been an invaluable source of guidance and serenity. Thank you for working to make it available.

I just bought my iPhone and am so glad I have this application. My hat's off to Mr. Orozco for the great work he has created. I agree with all of the suggestions above and would ask that both the old and the RCL readings be included for the daily and weekly lectionaries. Can you also put the actual readings into the application. Could you add to this application an entire bible (Oxford NRSV with Apocrypha, or the Oxford Anglicized version of same). If you can't add a bible, could you bring out a version for us Episcopalians/Anglicans. I'd be willing to pay up to $US25 for such a super application - Good luck and may God be with you in what you are doing.

Thanks for making it lighter to travel. What would make it even better would be the ability to navigate more easily, such as with bookmarks, a search option, and the RCL instead of the BCP lectionary.

This app is precisely what those of us who use the Book of Common Prayer need on the iPhone. The updates are great! I'm still looking for the ability to save where I am in the book and for links to external websites for Daily Office/Lectionary passages.

These are exactly the improvements I've been hoping for. What I'd like to see next is the ability to bookmark favorites.

I love this--it's much better than dealing with a cumbersome PDF file/reader. Glad to get the recent update, too!
