This is the first time I've tried mind-mapping. I thought it sounded like a good idea and I'm thrilled that I tried it.

To the user who states that there's no way to delete nodes/branches, this functionality is actually implemented. The 'trash can' icon will delete a selected node. Alternatively, one can "cut" the node/branch and choose not to "paste" it, which will accomplish the same task. --------------------------------------- I downloaded this app, and I'm so glad I did. I was able to impress my boss and co-workers with attractive mind maps that I used for problem solving. Since my phone is with me all the time, now I never forget any bright ideas I get in the middle of the night or while stuck in traffic. The export features work flawlessly! Three suggestion for future versions: 1. Allow the import of mind maps. 2. When sending email (exporting), allow specifying who this email is sent from. Perhaps, allow a custom line of text to be included in the email. 3. Less importantly, allow more space for complex mind maps and custom formatting of branches.

Excellent customer support. I used non-English characters in my mindmap, and discovered that they were not handled correctly in the exported format. I reported the issue to the developer, and was pleasantly surprised to get a response promptly. The issue was fixed within days, and I even received a notice from the developer. The product is well worth the price. I am now a very happy customer.

This is a perfect application for someone that has idea's or notes and like's the way mindmapping works. When your done with a mindmap just email it to yourself and print it or save it to your computer.

This application helps me literally "see the big picture." I can quickly visualize my ideas and to-do's. Possible updates could include controlling the colors and editing it on my computer with the ability to sync. But, this application has helped me organize my ideas tremendously!

If you are into brainstorming this is the product for you. I love everything about this app, its easy to use and it makes sense. If i should say one thing that needs improvement then its the case when you send your mapping over email. Now it's open you contacts, but the problem is if you dont have the emailadress in the contact. Then you have to close iBlueSky, go into contact, add a emailadress, then go out of contacts, and then into iBlueSky again. This should be a easy fix for Tenero, give multiple choice. Other than that worth, every penny.

No crashes, very nice interface. Been using mindmaps for many years, this one is pretty good. Needs to scale to larger maps, 8x11 isnt near enough, for my current maps. Had to split them into 3 to fit it all. Also would love to see an "auto balance" function to avoid overlaping nodes. Great start!

This program has a lot of potential. I'd really like to be able to collapse and expand nodes, as well as add some notes to each one, not just titles. With a screen as small as this, it's very important to be able to collapse things to make better use of the screen and shift focus to the part of the map you're working with. It's great that the developer has export working. I'd like to be able to import maps, too!

Amazing to have this capability on my Touch. It's easy to create maps and reorganize them as my ideas evolve. A real plus is being able to export maps by emailing them to myself. I can then continue working on a map using a desktop application such as FreeMind (which is free).

Does what it's supposed to do and does it well

Easy to use. Completly worth the price of a value meal to be able to mind map anywhere. Uses the iPhone functionality perfectly.

I downloaded this app after I sent an e-mail to the developer--I was impressed by his quick response. Jarod from iPhoneApps did a favorable review--I have since created two complicated maps on processes I am managing--there are a few tweaks I would like to see (like the ability to e-mail more than 1 person at a time and having the ability to have multiple lines in each bubble. I would recommend having a Title capability to place somewhere on your map.

There are basic needs that are missing from this program. 1. Ability to delete accidentally created or unwanted nodes 2. Ability to use straight lines vs the default curvey line 3. More stylish control over color, shapes, text and again lines( dotted lines would be useful ) 4. Write/ attach descriptions of nodes If these get added, I would consider this worth it's price

If you send your mind map via e-mail feature the file is send to an unknown server. Try using the email feature by sending the mind map to your e-mail and you will see that the sender is someone else (does not use your account). I don't want someone else to be able to see my files.

Mindmapping on the go! It's the app I've been waiting for. Very fast and easy to use. It crashed once but my work were still there.

I had been wanting to check out mind mapping programs, but couldn't quite see how helpful they might be. I tried a desktop version once before, a couple of years ago, but this app on the iPhone really works. There's nothing like having the mobility option to be able to do a mind map from wherever I am. It's smooth and easy. Like others have mentioned as well, I'm one of those visual type people as well, and can now see the merits of a mind map program to help plan out a project. Would love the option to edit colors and maybe some fonts, but maybe a future version could have this, and regardless five stars it gets!!

I don't understand all the glowing reviews. I've had this app for a while and I really wanted to like it, but I never use it because it's just too limited. You pretty quickly reach the edge of the page. When you add a node it often places it in a bizarre place. It gets pretty sluggish. And you can't set the color or size or font or any other attributes at all, or add notes or have multi-line text. And you can't backup or email your ideas without sending it to the company's servers. It feels like this should be the free "lite" version. For any project simple enough for this to handle, I don't see why you'd need an app at all. It's a pity, but I've gone back to using the notepad app until something better comes along.

I love this, specially because you can do it in landscape mode. I wish it exported into Xmind as well.

This app is one of the BREAKTHROUGH apps I was looking for. If you are familiar with Tony Buzan, you know that he developed MINDMAPPING. AND now there is an app that actually allows you to mind map on your iPHONE. I know that mindmapping is more picture based, but I love this APP. I am looking forward to watching how it develops over time. Great work Tenero Software!

This app hasn't been updated in ages. I'm starting to question the developer's committment to this application. Particularly considering the many outstanding issues. Visually, the app is stunning, but sadly, it ends there. My biggest gripe is that this app is plagued with being able to handle only very short nodes. Any node of significant length distorts and runs well off the edge of the map. Honestly, this alone makes it unsuitable for all but the simplest of maps. Which is a shame, because this app would otherwise have potential.

I'm knocking it down a star for now because there haven't been any updates to this app in a long time, but I see now that the developer is planning an update soon. I look forward to this, since if love to start using this app again without the bugs. Previous review: I bought this app about 2 weeks ago and have been using it consistently. I'd tried every other list management and mindmapping app out there, and this is by far the best. I am a visual person, so this really speaks to me. The only changes I would make to this would be to allow users to choose their own colors, and for long strings of text to be "stacked" within the ellipses to she space. Also, when exporting to PDF, the mindmap is often positioned differently on the page than on the application. These are relatively minor annoyances, though.

I've been a fan of mindmapping for the last two years: it allows me to record and structure my thoughts while allowing my mind to stay as unstructured and playful as it does while daydreaming. I use a variety of mindmapping applications on the computer--nothing integrated across all the platforms that I use--and I'm happy to say the recent upgrade of iBlueSky has pushed it much higher on my to-use list for mindmapping tools and to the top of my must-have apps for my Ipod Touch.

Out of all the actual iphone app that are true "mind managers" and I own them all, this one ranks the lowest.
